The Lord Needs It

The Lord Needs It
(Lk 19:28-40)

God is the Lord of glory(Ps 29:3).
For His glory, He made all things(Is 43:21) and
He rewards with glory those who are gloriously used by Him(Mt 25:31, Mt 25:34; Rev 21:23-24).

Faith is knowing Him and longing for Him, and
The life of this faith is putting effort to be gloriously used by Him.

The Bible demonstrates that,
All things, the visible – heaven, earth, man, kingdom, throne, kings and authorities – and
The invisible – heaven, earth, angels, kingdom, throne, king and authorities – were
Made to be used by God(Col 1:16).

The angel’s corruption and sin(Jude 1:6) was
Not unexpected(Eze 28:15) for
Even he was to be used until the day of disaster(Pr 16:4),
By being made a spectacle(Eze 28:17-19).

God made only one Adam(Mal 2:15) and
Gave a son to Abram who could not have child(Ge 18:10),
Not for them or for their needs,
But for God had a need(Ge 22:8).

Furthermore, God used Egypt and
The Israelites like a woman in labor.
He used the pharaoh and hardened his heart
To display His power and name(Rm 9:17-18).
He also used the Philistines and incited them(Is 9:11-2)
To strike Israel as a rod(Ps 23:4).

The glory of the Lord was in the sanctuary(Nu 16:19; 2Ch 5:14) and
The Tablets inside the Ark reminded that God nurtured them.

When the time had fully come,
The Son of God, Jesus came(Gal 4:4-5):
1. Under the Law – the circumstance of His death; and
2. Born of the woman – the condition of death(Lk 1:31).
Jesus said, “Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days”(Jn 2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would show the true glory of God for
He is the glory that was with the Father in the beginning(Jn 1:1, Jn 1:14, Jn 1:18, Jn 17:5),
The radiance of His glory(He 1:3).

As He died, He said, “It is finished”(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laid down His life and used His body gloriously for the glory of the Father, and the Father, in turn, gave Him glory(Jn 10:17-18; Php 2:8-11);
2. Condemned the angel who wanted to steal God’s glory(Is 14:12-15);
3. Sprinkled His blood and redeemed all men, preparing them to be used gloriously(He 9:21-22).
The Father raised Him up and Jesus sat on the throne and
He is the Lord of glory.

The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Comes in the name Yeshua to souls sprinkled with His blood and
Lets them see the glory of the Lord of glory.

The men of the Spirit are those who
Know that all things are used for the Lord, either wickedly or gloriously.
Therefore, when the Lord says He needs it(Lk 19:32, Lk 19:34),
Like Mary, like the colt, even if they are not ready,
They gloriously offer themselves(Lk 1:38) for
They long to be used not as weeds(Mt 13:30) that will be burned,
But as wheat that will finally see His glory in that day.

O Lord,
Everything that we have, our bodies and our souls are Yours.
Even if we are flawed,
Use us according to Your need until the end! Amen.
