The Eternal Inheritance

God is the eternal Father(Is 9:6).
He bears children through His eternal blood(He 9:11-15),
He nurtures them through the eternal Holy Spirit and
He inherits the eternal inheritance to them.

Faith is welcoming and receiving this promise and
The life of this faith is fighting to gain the eternal inheritance.

Inheritance or legacy cannot be sold or terminated;
It is inherited down for generations.

While God gave the land of Canaan as inheritance to
Abram who had been living there and to his descendents(Ge 17:8),
It would be fulfilled only after 430 years of their slavery(Ge 15:13-14).

Before his descendents, i.e., the Israelites, crossed the Jordan(Dt 12:10),
The land was distributed by lot for each tribe(Nu 26:55) –
After they considered it a holy land, a sacred district and fought to win it(Eze 45:1).

The Levites, on the other hand, received a separate inheritance(Nu 18:20-21):
While they had no inheritance or share in the land,
They received priesthood, the sanctuary and the tithes of Israel(Nu 18:24; Jos 18:7; Eze 45:1-5).

Hence, when Jesus said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise in three days”(Jn 2:19-21),
He angered the priests, especially the high priest Caiaphas(Mt 26:59-68) because
They feared losing their inheritance.
However, through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
Jesus was going to tear down the earthly sanctuary and enter the eternal sanctuary, heaven
For He came as the eternal High Priest(He 9:11, He 9:24).

As He died, Jesus said, “It is finished”(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Laying down His life, gained the sacred district, i.e., heaven, and offered it to the Father who, in turn, gave it back to Him(Eze 45:1, 46:16-18; Jn 10:17-18);
2. Condemned the angel who challenged God(Is 14:12-15); and
3. Tore His flesh like veil(He 10:20) and with His eternal blood obtained eternal redemption for all men(He 9:12).
Thus, the Father gave the beautiful inheritance, the name Yeshua(He 1:4-5; Php 2:6-11)
To not angels, not servants(Is 54:17) but only the Son(Eze 46:16).

The Holy Spirit gives the name Yeshua
As inheritance to His children(Jn 1:12), and
Lets them fight and win for the eternal inheritance.

The men of the Spirit are:
1. The children of God → they do not yield the right to pray;
2. All priests → they do not yield the right to worship; and
3. The kingdom of heaven → they rather surrender their life or the world but never surrender it.
Since an inheritance is received and passed down, they pass it on to:
1. Their children – the most beautiful name, Yeshua, as inheritance; and
2. Their neighbors – they risk their life to gain souls,
For they long to finally enter their eternal land.

O Lord,
My eternal inheritance to pass down to generations – the name Yeshua!
I rather surrender my life than surrender this inheritance.
This is my land!
