The Most Noble Death
(Mt20:28; Rev5:9-10)

God is very great (Ps104:1).
His existence itself is very great and
He is highly lifted up for His noble works.

Faith is knowing Him and revering Him and
The life of this faith is following Him and doing the most noble work until death.

To man there is nothing more shocking of an event than death, because of which
Everyone wants to know the cause of someone’ death —
Whether it is natural cause, disease, accident, suicide, homicide or execution etc.
Among them the most noble one is death in combat.
In other words, it is the death of a soldier for it is
Irrelevant to one’s own advancement but for the nation.
As long as the nation lives, it pays respect to the fallen.

Adam, the ancestor of all men, was deceived by the devil and sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6).
As a result, the devil became the prince of the world, the ruler of death (Jn12:31; He2:14), and
All men became demoted to his slaves, his people (2Pe2:19).

Through one man’s sin death came to all men (Rm5:12-13) and
For them to know this God gave to the people of Israel
The Law, the law of sin and death (Rm8:2), which had many commandments including
The one to not have any other god before the Lord God (Ex20:3-17; Lev20:2-27; Dt13:1-18).

The written code inside the ark of the testimony
Reminded them that sinner must die (Rm7:9; Eph2:15),
While it also reminded them that
By the blood of the atoning sacrifice the sinner can live (Lev4:32-35).
As such, the sanctuary was their object of fear.

Yeshua appeared and said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would tear down the law of sin and death and raise a new law of life by
Becoming a ransom Himself for He came as the Lamb of God (Mt20:28; Jn1:29; He10:3-4).
He also came as the kingdom of heaven (Mt3:1; Jn18:36)
To judge the prince of the world and save the people (Jn10:8-10, 12:31).

He was treated like a sinner with the thieves and
As He died the most wretched death in the most cursed form, the crucifixion,
He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died according to the Father’s command and with His blood purchased men and offered
them as a kingdom to the Father (Jn10:18; Rev5:9-10);
2) Judged the devil, the prince of the world who challenged the throne (Is14:12-15); and
3) Gave His life to all men as a ransom (Mt20:28), rounding up all at once sin, death, the law
and the devil (Rm8:3-4; 2Co5:21; Col2:14-15; He2:14).

The Father raised Him up and
He ascended to heaven and sat on the throne.

The Holy Spirit came to believers as the kingdom of God (Mk9:1) and
Lets them testify Yeshua as Christ (Ac2:36, 5:30-31).

The Christian knows that he
Received the most worthy, noble blood of Christ and thus has a new worth (1Pe1:18-19).
He carries around in his body the death of Christ and follows His path (Mt10:37-38; 2Co4:10)
Going to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth (Mk9:1)
Doing the most worthy, noble work, that is expanding His kingdom.

O Lord,
When a father dies he is buried in the mountain.
When a son dies he is buried in his father’s heart.
The death of Jesus Christ is buried in my soul….
So as long as my soul exists I will never forget Your death!
He who knows no sin became sin and saved this undeserving sinner (2Co5:21) and
Died for the kingdom of the Father — the most noble death!
Let me also work and fight to death doing this most noble work. Amen.
