Out of Our Minds For the Lord
(2Co5:11-21)

God is love (1Jn4:8).
For those whom He loves
There is nothing that He cannot do, nothing that He holds back (Rm8:32), and
He lets them be where He is (Jn17:24).

Faith is being moved by His love and
The life of this faith is becoming His ambassador and testifying His love to the world (2Co5:20).

While behaviors that are seen as “irrational,” “illogical” or “unusual” are called “crazy,” and
Those who become immersed into doing certain things are called “maniacs,”
In reality such people who are crazy about something are happy and
May even be able to accomplish something in the end.

The Bible tells the crazy love story of God (1Co1:25) for
He gave His one and only Son to express His love for men (Tit3:3-4).
As such, when God drove out Adam from the Garden
After he was deceived by the devil and sinned (Ge3:4-6)
God clothed him in garments of skin (Ge3:21).

For they were loved by God for His love for their ancestors (Dt4:37),
The Israelites were delivered from their slavery in Egypt.
Abraham who did not withhold his only son (Ge22:12),
Jacob who seized the birthright of the firstborn (Ge25:33; Mal1:2), and
Moses who chose to be mistreated along with the people of God
Rather than to enjoy the splendors of Egypt (He11:24-27)
All were considered out of their minds by the world for
They believed in Him who is invisible.

However, even after seeing the signs of the exodus and the Red Sea,
Almost all of the Israelites fell in the desert and died for
They did not love the Lord God (Dt6:4; Jn5:42)
In spite of the fact He loved them and gave them the Law to do so (Dt33:2-4).

Although they were to also love the sanctuary where the name of Jehovah (Ps26:8, 84:1) was
They rather committed wickedness there (Jer11:15).

Thus God resolved to never love them again (Hos9:15).
Yet He would heal their waywardness (Hos14:4) and
Love them by sending His one and only Son (Jn3:16).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19-21), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would love not just Israel but all mankind by becoming an atoning sacrifice for them (1Jn4:9-10).
Even as He was accused of being out of mind for driving out demons (Mt9:34),
He loved His disciples to the end (Jn13:1) and wanted them to be where He is (Jn17:24).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Kept the command and remained in the Father’s love (Jn10:17, 15:10);
2) Condemned the devil the separator (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Loved all men and gave His life to them (Mt20:28; Jn15:9, 13).

He resurrected and was taken up to the kingdom of love (Col1:13).

The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua to believers and
Pours out into their hearts God’s love (Rm5:5).

The Christian is he who
Becomes compelled by the love of Christ and thus lives for the One who died for him (2Co5:14-15).
There is nothing that he worries or fears for
Nothing can separate him from the love of God in Christ (Rm8:25-29), and
He becomes out of his mind
Only for Yeshua, the Truth, life (1Pe3:10),
The church, the gathering in His name, fellow members,
Heaven where his beloved Lord is and the Day of the Lord.

O Lord,
Are You in Your right mind?
How can You love people like us?
Let us repent and go back to our first love, our first passion for You (Rev2:4-5).
Let us all become even more crazy for Your love! Amen.
