I Am Dust
(Ge3:19; Ps90:1-12)

God is eternal.
From everlasting to everlasting He is (Ps90:2).
By His Word He created all things and by His word He puts end to them (2Pe3:7).

Faith is knowing that I was made from dust and will return to the dust (Job33:6; Ps104:29), and
The life of this faith is, before returning to the dust, raising my soul to life.

For all living things die and return to being nothing
Humans have advanced science and technology to
Retard or even “reverse” the process of aging to extend average lifespan.
In spite of such effort, however, the perfect solution could never be found
As no one can escape the reality of the meaninglessness of life as
Men are in endless quest to find meaning in life, who they are,
Only to end in death, as many philosophers have argued.

The Bible says, “for dust you are to dust you will return” (Ge3:19) for
God alone is from everlasting to everlasting (Ps90:2).
As such, during the time of Noah,
He wiped away with water the flesh of all men and their civilization along with the land (Ge6:13, 17).

The sanctuary where the eternal name of God, Jehovah, was
Reminded them that they were those who live in houses of clay,
Whose foundations are in the dust,

Who are crushed more readily than a moth (Job4:19), that
They are lowly, pitiful and weak lives who need to
Realize and return to their beginning, repenting in dust and ashes (Job42:6) for
Like a father has compassion on his children, so does God for
He knows how they are formed, that they are dust (Ps103:13-14).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would carry the burden of sin on to His body as the Son of Man (Mt20:28) for
He knows how men are formed and has compassion on them, and that
He would raise men to life — not the earthly body but the spiritual body to live forever (1Co15:44).

He is the first of His works, the One in the beginning,
The Creator who made the foundation of dust (Pr8:22-30).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Following the Father’s command became the dust of death and put an end to the earthly nature
(Ge3:19; Ps22:15; Jn10:18).
2) Judged the devil the ruler of death (He2:14); and
3) Sprinkled His redeeming blood like a seed for all mankind to live in the spiritual body (Jn12:24; He12:24).

He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne.

The Holy Spirit whom He sent comes in the name Yeshua and
Lets those who know that “I am = earthly = dust,”
That their souls are attached to the dust of the earth, and
Thus their life is preserved (Ps119:25).

The Christian is he who
In order to live again in the imperishable, glorious spiritual body,
Diligently sows the perishable, dishonorable dusty body (1Co15:35-58)
For he knows the number of his days is not many (Ps90:12).

O Lord,
This one life has passed by in a moment.
For this lowly, meaningless and weak lump of dust has
Received the precious blood of Yeshua
Let my soul surely be raised!
Let me and all those You have given me
Not waste this New Year 2018.
Like the stardust cloud in the universe
Let us together shine the glory of the name Yeshua! Amen.
