I Am An Extra (An Unworthy Servant)
(Lk17:7-10)

God exists on His own for Himself.
For Himself He made all things (Is43:21) and
For His name’s sake He fulfills (Ps23:3; Is43:21).

Faith is knowing that I am an extra and
The life of this faith is not living for myself but for Him who gave Himself for me (Gal2:20).

Especially in these last days, people have become extremely self-centered as
They wish that the earth, the sun, heaven, nations, laws, constitutions, family, school, society etc
Exist all for themselves.
What is more, they also want God, the church and the preaching to be for themselves for
This is the fantasy of the creature,
The characteristic of Satan who attempted to overthrow heaven and
Replace it with a self-centered world (Is14:12-15).

However, God created all things, things visible and invisible (Col1:16),
Heaven, earth, the throne, powers, death, life, depth, height (Rm8:38-39), angels and men and
They were all for God Himself, for the Son (He1:2),
Including the Garden of Eden, the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
The commandment and even sin (Ge2:17, 3:6).
With the great flood God wiped away all but Noah and his family for His purpose and
It was to clearly demonstrate this.

The exodus of Israel (Ex7:5), the commandment (Dt4:10) that they received, and
The sanctuary where the name Jehovah (Ex25:8; 1Ki8:16) was
Let them know that they were a people for God (Ps135:4; Is43:21).
Even the blood of the sacrifice that blot out their sins was
For God’s own sake to remember their sins no more (Ps106:8; Is43:23-25).

Accordingly, if anyone made idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for himself (Lev26:1)
He was punished (1Sa15:12; 2Sa18:18).

When it was time, the prophecy about God fulfilling for His own sake (Is48:11) came true and
Yeshua appeared and said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19),
Because through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would lay down His life in order to receive it back (Jn10:17-18)
For He came in the name not Jehovah but Yeshua the Father’s name (Jn5:43)
As the Son of God (Jn1:1, 14)
To fulfill the commandment which was made for Him (Mk2:27-28).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life according to the command and gave glory to the Father (Jn10:18; Php2:6-11);
2) Through death, which was there for Him, judged the devil the ruler of death (Rm8:39; He2:14); and
3) Sprinkled His redeeming blood (Is43:25; Eph1:7) for all men who prepared sin for His death (Ge2:17, 3:4-6).

Yeshua resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne and
The Holy Spirit whom He sent comes to
Those who welcomed Yeshua as Lord (1Co12:3) and
Lets them confess that they are only unworthy servants (Lk17:10) and
Know that God did not spare the natural branches, Israel (Rm11:21) and
Even servants such as Moses and Elijah were used as expendables (Mt17:1-5).

Therefore, the God-centered Christian is he who
Strongly denounces secularism and humanism that seep into the churches today and
Rejects the preaching that suits the desires of men (2Ti4:3-4).
Instead, whether it is prayer, fasting or preaching
He does not for himself
But only for the Lord who gave Himself up for him (Gal2:20).

O Lord,
Though we are just disposables that You can use or toss,
You have spared us for Yourself (Rm11:4) and what grace it is!
Let none of us be thrown into the fire in the end
But rather, let us all be taken up to Your house in the last day.
Let me never forget: I am only an extra! Amen.
