i Belong to the People of the Kingdom of Christ
(2Ti4:1-2; 2Pe1:11)

God is the King (Ps5:2).
With authority He establishes His kingdom and rules it and
Inherits a holy kingdom to the people who have become His possession (Jas2:5; 1Pe2:9).

Faith is being proud and blessed of becoming His people and
The life of this faith is producing fruit for His kingdom in order to be counted worthy of the kingdom (Mt21:43; 2Th1:5).

While a kingdom or nation must have a territory, a people and sovereignty,
Under a monarchy the greatest power lies with the king for he has the supreme command,
The right of ownership and the right to grant immunity etc.
As such, men have wanted to become kings and to continue the line to the throne.
The world history records most kings as greedy, cruel and brutal to the point of being insane, and
The people under such kings were just ill-fated.

The Bible, however, demonstrates that God alone is the eternal king.
In the spiritual heaven, the archangel Lucifer rebelled attempting to become a king (Is14:12-15)
But God cast him down to Hades, the universe, until the great day of judgment (2Pe2:4; Jude1:6).
When deceived by the devil Adam sinned (Ge3:4-6),
All men became his slaves and the devil became the prince of the world (2Pe2:19).

According to His promise to Abraham about a kingdom and many kings (Ge17:6),
God sent Moses after four generations, that is, 430 years, and
Delivered the Israelites from their slavery in Egypt (Ex12:41) and
Made them a kingdom of priests and a holy nation (Ex19:6).

While the sanctuary where the Testimony with the name Jehovah and the stone tablets was placed
Reminded them that, their “King = Jehovah,” “territory = Canaan,” “law = the Law of Moses,”
The Kingdom of Israel that began with king Saul whom they had asked for (1Ki8:6-22, 9:1-2)
Continuing through king David and king Solomon
Eventually divided into the Northern Kingdom and the Southern Kingdom,
Both of which collapsed (1Ki12:6-16):
Rehoboam — the Kingdom of Judah — the S. Kingdom — Jerusalem — 2 tribes — 568BC;
Jeroboam — the Kingdom of Israel — the N. Kingdom — Shechem, Bethel — 10 tribes — 722BC.

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-20),
He would make heaven His territory, not Canaan and
Build an eternal kingdom that cannot be shaken (He12:28),
Not a kingdom that repeats a cycle of rise and fall,
A people of the kingdom of Yeshua, not of Jehovah,
Not by carnage and violence but by giving His own life (Mt20:28).

Although He preached the gospel of the kingdom of heaven and healed the sick
He was framed as a challenger to the ruler at the time and was thus put to death (Jn18:33-37, 19:2).

As He died, Yeshua said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that:
1) The Father who brought the Son to His surrender alone is the King (Jn10:18; 1Co15:28);
2) He judged the prince of the world the devil (Jn12:31); and
3) With His blood He purchased all men from the devil and made them His people (Rev5:9-10).

He resurrected and ascended to heaven.
His throne will last for ever and ever and his scepter is forever (He1:8).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent in the name Yeshua comes as the King (Mk9:1)
To the church and souls whom He purchased with His own blood.

The Christian is he who knows that though in the past
He was separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and
Foreigners to the covenant of the promise, without hope and without God in the world (Eph2:12),
Now he belongs to the people of His kingdom so
How happy he is, how dearly he loves his King Yeshua (1Pe2:9)!
Therefore he boasts with all his strength (2Ti4:1-2) and
Strongholds fall tumbling down and those held in the bondage of the devil surrender and
The kingdom where Yeshua is Christ expands.

O Lord,
Like those three mighty warriors who loved their king David (2Sa23:11-17)
We will risk our lives and go to bring back good news and
Refresh the heart of our King Yeshua!
Let us win souls for You! Amen.
