I Am A Witness of the Word
(Lk1:1-4; He1:1-3)

God is the God of revelation.
He reveals Himself in His own time according to His ways and
He reveals Himself to those whom He wants so that they may understand the Word (Lk24:25; Ac16:14).

While religion originates spontaneously from humans seeking deity,
Christianity is obeying the Word of God, that is, the faith by revelation.

Faith is longing to understand the Word and
The life of this faith is obeying the Word and experiencing it, becoming a witness of the Word.

The Word (ho logos) refers to “God’s self-manifestation.”
Outside the Word there is no other way for man to know God for
God is greater than all things, greater than the universe (2Ch2:6; Jn10:29).
The Bible demonstrates the greatness of God through
The things that were fulfilled according to the word of God (Lk1:1):
His eternal power and divine nature revealing through all things (Rm1:19-20),
Abraham giving birth to a son at the age of 100 (Ge18:10-15),
Moses leading the Israelites who had been slaves for 400 years etc.

The stone tablets that Moses brought down from the mount (Ex19:20, 20:22) and
The radiant skin of his face were proofs that Jehovah spoke with him (Ex34:29).
The sanctuary where the ark of testimony containing the stone tablets
Reminded them that if they obeyed the commandments (Lev19:37)
They would dwell in the promised land and be the people of God.
But because they did not obey, the curses according to His word came upon them (Dt28:15).
Furthermore, according to the prophet Elijah’s word the rain stopped for three years and
According to his prayer it rained again (1Ki17:1-18:41).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-20),
In not the name Jehovah but the Father’s name Yeshua (Jn5:43)
He would let all men hear not the word spoken by the angels (Hos12:4; He2:2)
But the word spoken by the Son (Mt17:1-8; He1:2), which is
Not the Law of Moses or the Prophets but
The word spoken by the Word for
He is the Word in the beginning, that is, God (Jn1:1-2, 14),
The incarnate Word, the only begotten Son (Jn1:18).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Fulfilled the Law and the Prophets, the Father’s command (Mt11:13; Jn10:18);
2) Judged the devil who left his proper domain, position on his own (Is14:12-15; Jude1:6); and
3) Redeemed the sins of all men and purified them with His blood (He1:3).

The nail-marks on the hands of the resurrected Yeshua reveal that He is God (Jn20:28)
Letting the disciple who saw Him become a witness of the Word.

The Holy Spirit gives the Spirit of revelation
To enlighten the eyes of the hearts of believers (Eph1:17).
The Christian who believes the Bible which contains the revealed word of God
Obeys the word of Yeshua and experiences the Word and
Becomes a witness of the Word (1Jn1:1-2).
In the name Yeshua (Mk16:17-18)
He is baptized, experiencing the death and the resurrection of Yeshua,
Speaks in tongue and experiences that he is a spiritual being,
Prays and experiences answer,
Lays hand on the sick and experiences healing, and
Drives out demons and experiences spiritual enemies.
Therefore, he is not shaken by any hardship or temptation as
The Spirit makes him a witness of Yeshua.

O Lord,
Let not even one of us come to church out of religiosity.
Rather, let us have a pure and humble heart so that
You can freely reveal Yourself to us.
Let us obey the word spoken by the Word and
Experience the Word to become witnesses of the Word! Amen.
