I Am A True Worshipper

God is Spirit (Jn4:24).
He seeks true worshippers (Jn4:23) and
Shines His face to those who give worship worthy of the glory of His name (Ps29:2, 67:1).

Worship (proskuneo) means to “see the face of God.”
Although God is spirit, through worship one can meet with Him.
As such, faith is longing to see the face of God and
The life of this faith is putting effort to have successful worship, not sparing even one’s only son (Ge22:1-12).

The history of the Bible illustrates that the greatest blessing is seeing the face of God and
While the greatest curse is being hidden from the face of God.
Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned and was banished from the Garden,
Not ever being able to return there for it was guarded by a flaming sword (Ge3:4-6, 24).
Furthermore, Cain who failed at his sacrifice killed his brother and was punished for it — that is,
Hidden from the face of God (Ge4:4-14).

On the mount God instructed with the offering He instructed (Ge22:1-18)
Abraham did not spare his only son and worshipped God and as a result received a great blessing.
Wrestling all night and receiving blessing
Jacob saw the face of God, that is, the face of an angel (Ge32:31; Hos12:4),
As Moses saw the back of God on Mount Horeb for
No can see the face of God and live (Ex33:20-23).

As the people of God who sought the face of God (Ps24:6)
When the Israelites entered the tabernacle on the Sabbath (Ps99:5; Is66:23) and
Worshipped before one altar (2Ch32:12),
They received peace and salvation (Nu6:26; Ps80:1).
However, because they worshipped other gods
Calamities and tribulation came against them (Ps31:17-18).

Yet when they turned from their evil ways and returned to the temple where the name Jehovah was
God forgave their sins and healed their land (2Ch7:14).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-20),
He would make a way for all men for
Neither the true worship where the name Jehovah was in Jerusalem of the Southern Kingdom
Not the spiritual worship on Bethel of the Northern Kingdom (1Ki12) but
But the worship in spirit and in truth in the name Yeshua for
The Word became flesh (Jn1:1, 14) and He Himself revealed the face of God (Jn4:20-26).

Even though sinners spat on His face (Mt26:67), He did not curse them but
Rather as He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Offered the greatest sacrifice and worshipped the Father the Most High (Ps50:14);
2) Judged the devil who left his position of serving God (Jude1:6); and
3) Made a way for those who gain the confidence by His blood to enter the true sanctuary (He10:19-20).

He resurrected and ascended to heaven and sat on the throne
Becoming the eternal High Priest before the Father (He7:21, 9:24) and
He is worshipped by all angels and those who are redeemed (Rev4:10).

On the Lord’s Day (Rev1:10)
The Holy Spirit lets those gathered in the name Yeshua to worship in spirit and in truth (Mt18:20)
By giving the best praise, offerings (material, souls) (Lk21:2; Eph5:19).

He who worships successfully
Receives forgiveness, peace and healing and has
His angel always seeing the face of God (Mt18:10).
Furthermore, he longs to see the face of the Lord in the air
On the day He appears a second time (He9:28) and
Serve Him eternally in heaven (Rev22:3-4) for
Heaven is where one worships eternally.

O Lord,
Let us all long and long to see the face of the Lord and
Worship successfully while on earth.
And on the day You return
Let us all see Your face in the air! Amen.
