For the Lord
(Rm14:6-9)

God is living.
Life comes from Him (Jn1:4) and
He judges the living and the dead (2Ti4:1).

Faith is knowing who one’s Lord is and
The life of this faith is, if one lives, living to the Lord, and, if he dies, dying to the Lord (Rm14:7).

In these modern times, people are becoming all the more extremely self-centered,
Deep in “meism” and so expect everything to be “for me.”
The Bible, however, absolutely rejects humanism and demands theism for
To servants that men are there is only absolute submission as
God is the Judge who judges the living and the dead.

Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6) and
Became slave to the devil (2Pe2:19), slave to sin (Jn8:34).
As such, all men became destined to slavery by their fear of death (He2:15),
Only to follow the devil to hell in the end (Mt25:41).

The slavery of Israel in Egypt was the materialization of mankind’s slavery to the devil.
Jehovah sent His servant Moses and delivered them and
For He went before them, they followed the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire,
Passing through the Red Sea and the desert (Ex13:21-22).

Jehovah commanded Israel His servants (Ps113:1) to build
The sanctuary (Ex25:8) where the stone tablets of covenant (He9:4) were placed.
But when the commandment came, sinners died without mercy (Ex21:14-17), because of which
They lived in fear (Rm7:9).

All the more, however, they longed for the One who would come
To be punished in their place according to the prophecy (Is53:8) for
Even a dead man came back to life when his body touched the dead prophet (2Ki13:21).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19-22), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would become a servant of God (Mt12:18; Php2:6-8) and the Lord of the living (Rm14:9)
In the Father’s name Yeshua make a covenant with all men (Jn5:43).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Submitted to the Father’s command and became His servant (Jn10:18; He5:7);
2) Condemned the devil who left his servant position on his own (Is14:12-15; Jude1:6); and
3) Lowered Himself and became the Servant of servants, the slaves to sin,
to redeem them (Mt20:28; Jn8:34; Php2:6-8).

He resurrected and became the Lord of the living (Lk24:5; Ac2:36) and
Sat on the heavenly throne.
He is the Judge who judges the living and the dead (Ac10:42), and
He holds the keys of death and Hades (Rev1:18).

The Holy Spirit lets believers confess that Yeshua is Lord (1Co12:3),
Declaring, “I am a servant of Yeshua,” and
Testifying, “Yeshua is my Lord.”
He lets them become servants of men (2Co4:5).

The servant of Christ is he who is
Dead to sin and alive to Yeshua (Rm6:11-13).
Therefore, he does not let sin reign again
But rather offers himself to the Lord and
Does the work of an evangelist (2Ti4:1-5) for
He hopes that when the Lord Jesus Christ comes down from heaven with a loud command
He would rise as the living (1Th4:16).

O Lord,
Let me and all You have given me
Not just say “Lord, Lord” and give you a lip service
But rather strike our bodies to submit to the Lord so that
Our faith is found to be living now! Amen.
