I Am the Lord’s
(Rm14:8)

God is the Owner.
By His word He created all things and is their Owner (Ps100:3) and
With His blood He purchased souls and is their Owner (Ac20:28).

Faith is welcoming the fact that God is my Owner and
The life of this faith is whether one lives or dies, whether he stands or falls, not worrying but
entrusting all things to the Lord (Rm14:4).

For everyone has enormous interest, affection and responsibility over his own things.
Whether to a slave, a spouse, or even a dog, who the owner is is extremely important.
Furthermore, one’s fate is determined by to whom he belongs.

The Bible teaches men about the Owner and leads them to become His,
As God created all things and is their Owner.

Although Adam was entrusted by God with the Garden of Eden (Ge2:15),
Deceived by the devil, he sinned wanting to be like God (Ge3:4-6) and
Thus became his slave, his belonging (2Pe2:19).

The Israelites who had been slaves in Egypt for 430 years
Left on the night of Passover becoming servants of the Lord (Ps113:1) for
He made them His own, treasured possession (Ex19:5; Ps135:4).
For them, He opened the gates of heaven to send down manna,
Struck the rock so that water gushed out and spread a table in the wilderness (Ps78:19).

Since the commandment they received defined coveting as sin (Ex20:15, 17)
During battles they were to kill their enemies and burn all their possessions (Jos7:15; 1Sa15:3).

The sanctuary where the name Jehovah was, the Passover sacrifice was given, and
The Levites representing the firstborns (Nu3:13) all reminded that they belonged to the Lord, but
They forsook the Lord (Is1:2-4).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19-22), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
Not with the blood of animals but with His own precious blood (1Pe1:18-19)
Redeem not just Israel but all men and become their Owner
Not in the name Jehovah but the Father’s name Yeshua (Jn5:43).
As such, He saved a gentile woman who insisted that
He was her Lord and pleaded for His help (Mt15:22).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Rendered His life according to the Father’s command and confessed that
He is the Father’s possession (Lk23:46; Jn10:18);
2) Judged the devil the thief (Jn10:8; 2Pe2:19); and
3)With His blood purchased all men back from the devil and rendered them as
God’s belonging (1Pe1:18-19; Rev5:9).

He rose and sat on the heavenly throne and
He is the Owner of the fullness of heaven and earth (1Co10:26).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent protects and oversees
The souls whom He purchased with His blood (Ac20:28).

The disciple of Yeshua is he who knows that
He the spirit, the soul and the flesh, belongs to the Lord.
For he has been purchased by the blood of the only begotten Son he cherishes himself.
Even if he is persecuted he considers it his honor (Jn15:18-19).
Therefore, whether he lives or dies, whether he eats or starves
He completely trusts the Lord for
He longs to be taken when the Lord Yeshua comes back to seek those who belong to Him.

O Lord,
A dog like me!
For I want to eat even the crumbs that fall off the master’s table
Please do not forget me!
I am Yours! Amen.
