Yeshua Is My Lord
(Jn20:24-31)

God is Lord (Ps16:2).
All things come from Him (Rm11:36) and
By His Word he rules over all things.

Faith is choosing my Lord by my free will and
The life of this faith is submitting to the Word, the link between His Lord and servants.

“Lord,” which refers to master, king, or head, is
Extremely important to him who has become a servant, a people, a body for
“Who is my head?” determines his destiny,
As the destination of a train car is determined by to which engine it is attached.

Since their ancestor Adam sinned
All men became slaves of the devil (Ge2:17, 3:4-6),
Destined to follow him to hell (Mt25:41; 2Pe2:19).

Over a night the Israelites left their slavery of 430 years in Egypt and
Became servants of Jehovah (Ps113:1).
Following the pillars of clouds and of fire
They crossed the Red Sea and praised that Jehovah is their Lord (Ex15:11), and
Promised that they would do everything that the Lord commanded,
The moment they received the commandment, however, they trembled (Ex19:6-16).

Since they wanted to choose a leader and go back to Egypt (Nu14:4),
Except for Caleb and Joshua who followed the Lord wholeheartedly (Dt1:36)
All fell in the desert and died (Nu14:29-30).

After crossing the Jordan, Joshua asked the desert generation
To choose for themselves whom they would serve this day (Jos24:15-16), and
The sanctuary in their midst reminded them that
There is no God like the Lord in heaven above or on earth below (1Ki8:23).
In spite of it, however, they continued to disobey the Law and were
Thus put to the hands of their enemies.

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-22),
He would become the Lord for He is the Christ (Mt16:16) for
He is the One whom David called “my Lord” (Mt22:42-46).
According to the faith of the Roman centurion who asked that Yeshua just say the word
His servant was healed (Mt8:5-13).

While Yeshua was sold for 30 silver coins like a servant and died (Mt26:15),
He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life according to the Father’s command, and testified that the Father alone is the Lord and Yeshua is His servant (Ps116;16; Jn10:17-18);
2) Judged Satan who denied the Head (Is14:12-15; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood purchased all men and offered them as the Father’s (Rev5:9).

He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne as
The Lord of lords (Rev19:16).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent comes to the souls purchased by His blood and
Lets them confess, “Yeshua is my Lord” (1Co12:3), for
Not by fate or force (Rm8:15) but by their choice they have become His servants and
Thus are baptized according to Christ’s command (Rm6:3-8).

The Christian is he who decided to follow Yeshua as his Lord and follow His word,
He is a servant who has become one fate with his Lord, as
To believe or not believe is the right of one’s choice,
Once becoming His servant to obey or not obey is not a right.
Did Yeshua truly resurrect? Did He truly sit on the heavenly throne?
The Christian confirms through the Bible and the Holy Spirit (Jn20:25-28) for
If not he is destroyed (1Co15:17-18).

O Lord,
Yeshua, my Lord!
This is by my choice.
I am kneeling before You so speak to Your servant! Amen.
