Kneeling Before the Name of the Lord Yeshua
(Php2:6-11)

God is the Most High (1Sa15:29).
He is the Most High above all gods (Ps97:9) and
He dwells in the heights (Is33:15).

Faith is confessing the One whose name is Yeshua as Lord and
The life of this faith is kneeling before the Lord Yeshua.

Kneeling symbolizes surrender or plea and
It is what the lowly does before the high,
The sinner before the judge,
The defeated before the victor, the have-not before the have,
The dying before the one who can let him live.
As such, it is absolutely expected of him, who in the past bowed before an idol that cannot speak,
To now kneel before the Most High whose voice resounds in thunders and hails (Ps18:13).

The Bible indicates the original form and the fundamental attitude of the created, since
The devil, an angel who left his proper position and tried to challenge the Most High (Is14:14), was
Contained in the universe (Is14:15; Jude1:6) where
He deceived Adam, the ancestor of all men (Ge3:4-6).
Consequently all men became slaves of the devil destined for hell (Mt25;41; 2Pe2:19).

According to His promise to Abraham (Ge15:13) that
Nations will submit to Israel (Ge27:29),
With thunders and hailstorms God brought Egypt to its knees (Ps18:13).
He delivered the Israelites from their slavery and
Gave them the commandments so
They would know that the LORD with the name Jehovah alone was the Most High of Israel (Is83:18).

In spite of it, however, they made an idol in the wilderness (Ex32:1-4),
Built high places when they arrived in Canaan (Ps78:58) and
Continued to sin against Him (Ps78:17-34).
As a result they were put to shame, defeat and destruction.
Nevertheless the sanctuary where the name of the Most High Jehovah was and
The stone tablets inside the ark of covenant reminded them of this.

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-22),
The Most High Himself would establish Zion according to the prophecy (Ps87:5) for
He is the very nature God, equal to God, coming in the form of a servant (Php2:6-8),
Humbling Himself to the point of death on a cross.

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Submitted to the Father who makes the Son subjected to Him, and gave glory (Jn10:17-18; 1Co15:28; Php2:8-11);
2) Judged the devil who left his proper domain and position (1Jn3:8; Jude1:6); and
3) With His blood made all men sons of the Most High (Ph82:6).

He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne as the Lamb of God who
Bears the marks of being slain (Rev5:6) for
They are the eternal marks of His submission to the Father.

The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Brings those who confess that Yeshua is Lord (1Co12:3)
To their knees before the name Yeshua (Php2:10) so:
1) They are baptized, worship and praise;
2) They repent for bowing their knees to vain things;
3) They confess their failures;
4) They ask whatever; and
5) They commit their souls to the One who is able to save them from death for
There will come a day when
Those who do not believe Him and do not submit to Him will be punished (2Th1:8), while
Those who bow lowly before Him will be transformed to be like the body of Christ (Php3:21).

O Lord,
Let me and all my offspring, and all those You have given me
Kneel before the name Yeshua! Amen.
