Lord, Command Me
(Mt14:13-33)

God is the God of truth (Ps31:5).
The word and the law that come from Him are truth and
He sets free those who know the truth (Jn8:32).

Faith is knowing Him and
The life of this faith is obeying the word of the Lord, even risking danger.

Truth is a law or a principle.
While religions and sciences all have pursued it
The Bible talks about the truth:
God Himself, the word of God, the law of God (Jn17:11; Ps119:142),
Yeshua, the word of Yeshua are the truth (Jn14:6, 24).

From the time of creation, that truth was revealed as
God commanded by His word and created all things (Ge1:3; He11:3).

For Abraham believed this,
He obeyed the test of sacrificing his one and only son (He11:17-19), whom
He had when his body was as good as dead (Rm4:17-19).

Because of the ten plagues that came by God’s command to Moses
The Israelites left Egypt and passed through the Red Sea as on dry land (He11:29) and
They lived in the wilderness for 40 years.
For He spoke to the rock and brought out water (Nu20:8) and
Daily sent down manna from heaven (Ex16:3-5, 13-35),
They put forth the ark containing a vase with manna and dried up the Jordan (Jos4:17-18),
Brought down the city of Jericho and entered the Canaan (Jos6:10-20).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-22),
He would raise the Faithful City (Zec8:3) for
He came as not manna which they ate but still died but
The bread of life from heaven which one would eat and never die (Jn6:30-54).

For He is the truth and His word is the truth (Jn14:6, 24),
He commanded and showed signs:
The two fish and the five loaves of bread that multiplied, demons fleeing (Lk8:29),
Winds calming down (Mk4:39) and a man walking on water (Mt14:28-29).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died according to the commandment and resurrected, testifying the God of truth (Jn10:17-18);
2) Condemned the devil the father of lies (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood redeemed all men.

He resurrected and sat on the throne of the kingdom of truth.

The Spirit of truth leads believers to the truth (Jn16:13) and
The man of the Spirit is he who is ready to,
If the Lord commands,
Run into the water or to the wilderness.
He puts effort daily to live a day called this day
By the miracle of daily bread (Mt6:11) for
He longs for the truth, the bodily resurrection, on the last day.

O Lord,
Am I natural man? Or a man of the truth?
Even if the world calls me crazy I do not care, so
Lord, command me to come to You! Amen.
