The Lord Has Need of You

God is the Owner.
He made all things and is their Owner (He3:1) and
For His purpose He uses all things (Pa119:91).

A landowner builds a building, a farmer cultivates, a factory owner manufactures etc
All to use them according to their purpose.
As such, faith is knowing who one’s Owner is and
The life of this faith is being used according to the purpose of the Owner.

The Bible illustrates that all things visible, invisible, angels, men etc were
All made for God who has need of them (Col1:16).
If one knows that every activity under the heavens is to fulfill His purpose (Ecc3:1), which is
Neither like man’s purpose for man (Is55:8-9).
Then, questions regarding the Garden of Eden,
The commandment regarding the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
The serpent, the devil etc all would be answered and
One would know that all things were made as mechanisms for the Son of God to appear (1Jn3:8).

Abraham carried out the providence of giving his one and only son as a burnt offering (Ge22:8)
By believing that God will work for Himself.

For the Israelites were a people God chose for Himself, for His praise (Ex15:2; Is343:21),
They were delivered from their slavery in Egypt and passed through the sea as on dry land.

Whether it was the sanctuary which God commanded them to build (Ex25:8),
The Law which held the whole world accountable (Rm3:20), or
Even blotting out the sins of all men (Is43:25),
It was all for God Himself (“for Myself”).
As such, even if they bore children, even if they fasted (Eze16:20; Zec7:5)
He lamented for they did not do it for Him (Is1:3).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would fulfill the Father’s purpose (Jn4:36).
He is the Owner who came to the world which He Himself made (Jn1:3, 10-11).
He cursed the fig tree that did not produce fruit (Mk11:13-14), and
Instructed the disciples to bring a colt that belonged to someone else (Lk19:30-31) for
The Lord has need of it.

While the world rejected Him and killed Him (Jn1:11),
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave His life for the Father to use it for His purpose (Jn10:17-18);
2) Judged the devil who coveted the throne (Is14:12-15, 48:11; 1Jn3:8); and
3) For Himself with His blood blotted out all men’s sin (Is43:25).

He resurrected and ascended to heaven and
Became the Owner of all things (Mt28:18).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Lets the souls purchased by His blood (Rev5:9)
Know that Jesus Christ is their Owner.

Therefore, the Christian willingly offers all his things,
His soul, flesh, character, knowledge, talent, experience, materials, dwelling place and
Even his poverty, sickness and suffering
For the Lord to use.
He puts effort to carry the Lord in his language (phone)
To the ends of the earth (Ac1:8).

O Lord,
As I look back
I know that You have used
All my character, experience, talent, disease, hardship, family and environment.
