The Lord’s Glorious Inheritance
(Ps16:5-6; Eph1:18)

God is the Lord of grace.
Every good and perfect gift comes from Him (Jas1:17).
He gives the greatest inheritance to those who have been called (1Pe3:7).

Even if all corporations in the world fail
The Lord’s inheritance never fails.

Faith is knowing the hope to which one has been called and
What the glorious inheritance of His holy people is (Eph1:18), and
The life of this faith is even if one is to lose everything he is to never lose the Lord’s inheritance
and clinging on to it to pass it down to the next generation.

While everyone wants to inherit to their descendants
Every good thing like their possessions, rights etc,
At times, however, they end up inheriting undesirable traits like diseases, temper etc,
The curse passed down the family.

All men inherited sin and death (Rm5:12) for
Their ancestor Adam was deceived by the devil and sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6).

Called by God, Abraham left his country and went to the land which
He would later receive as his inheritance (Ge12:5; He11:8).
So he received the promise that his descendants would
Return from a foreign nation in the fourth generation and take possession of it (Ge15:7, 13-16).

The exodus of Israel from their slavery of 400 years was
To lead them into the land promised as an inheritance to their ancestors (Ex3:6-8; Lev20:24).
The LORD delivered the land to them so they would possess and conquer it (Dt2:31); and
He overthrew the seven nations in Canaan,
Giving the land to His people as their inheritance (Ac13:19).

While the land was divided among each tribe of Israel for their inheritance (Jos11:23),
None was given to the Levites (Jos13:33) for
Jehovah alone was to be their inheritance (Ps15:5-6; Eze44:27-28).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would receive the name Yeshua as His inheritance (He1:4), for
It is the name that neither the angels who are servants nor Israel received.
It is the name more beautiful than the inheritance of Levi, the name Jehovah.

Having no place on earth to lay His head (Mt8:20),
He died and said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died according to the commandment and conquered the name above all names (Jn10:18; Php2:6-11)
and the Father’s house (Jn14:3);
2) Judged the devil who left his proper domain (Is14:12-15; Jude1:6); and
3) Shed His blood to inherit to all men (1Pe1:3).

He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne,
The inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade (1Pe1:4).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Enlightens the eyes of the heart of those who have been called
To let them know the glorious inheritance of His holy people (Eph1:18; 1Pe3:7).

The man of the Spirit is he who
Received the inheritance, the beautiful name Yeshua (Jn1:12), which
The angels, the Israelites and the Levites envy.
Even if on earth there is no place for them to set his foot,
Even if he is cut off from his flesh and blood,
Even if he is seized of everything, he joyfully accepts for
He knows that he has a better and lasting possessions (He10:34) —
That is, the share of the Son of God and the Father’s house (Re21:7).
Therefore, he does not shrink back to be destroyed (Eph5:5; 1Ti6:9; He10:39) and
He inherits to the next generation the inheritance of life (1Pe3:7),
The lot drawn with lines, the beautiful inheritance (Ps16:5-6) - the Church.

O Lord,
To the point of shedding Your blood
You gave me the Father’s inheritance, the name Yeshua!
Even if I am plundered of everything, let me hold on to this one thing.
Let me inherit this beautiful lot, the Church of Jesus,
To the next generation! Amen.
