Become One Whom the Lord Knows
(Lk13:22-30)

God is the Lord over the house.
He is the Lord over the house which He built (He3:4) and
He both opens and closes the door as He wishes.

Faith is longing to partake in the Lord’s banquet and
The life of this faith is in order to become one whom the Lord knows, putting effort to enter
through the narrow gate (Lk13:24-25).

The Bible is the invitation to the wedding banquet of the kingdom of God (Lk13:29).
To him whom the Lord knows the door will be open,
While to him whom the Lord does not know it will be shut and
He will be thrown outside into the darkness (Hades) (Mt22:13, 25:30).

Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6), after which
He was driven out of the Garden (Ge3:24) to
Reveal the reality of all men’s current address — that is, Hades.

God called Moses to
Invite Israel to the land where milk and honey flowed, which was promised to their ancestors (Ex3:8).
Putting the blood of the Passover lamb around the door frames the Israelites left Egypt (Ex12:7).
While the gateway of the Red Sea opened for them (Ex14:22),
It closed on the Egyptians, killing them all (Ex14:27-28).

The sacrifice and the feasts that they observed in the wilderness (Nu10:10; Ps20:3) were
For Jehovah to not forget them (Ps74:2; Is44:21).
However, the sacrifices they gave out of formality were
Evil deeds that caused the temple door to shut before them (Mal1:7-10).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He Himself would become the Son over His own house (He3:6) and
Invite those whom He would know to the wedding banquet of the king (Mt22:1-14).
He called the disciples and He was with them in all trials (Lk22:28).

As His flesh tore and He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) By the sprinkling of His blood completed the heavenly house (He9:21)
and entrusted His soul to the Father (Lk23:46);
2) Judged the devil who left his proper position (Jude1:6); and
3)Sprinkled His blood and invited all men.

He resurrected and ascended to heaven and sat on the throne.

The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Invites the bride of the Lamb (Mt25:1-12; Rev19:7)
To the heavenly wedding banquet (Mt22:2)
Only while the gates of heaven remain open.

As the Israelites put the blood of the Passover lamb and
Passed through the gateways of the Red Sea and the Jordan, and
Arrived in the land where milk and honey flowed,

The man of the Spirit is he who
Puts the blood of Yeshua and
Passes through the gateway of baptism (1Co10:1-2),
In order that, on the day the Lord returns
The gates of heaven open and he participates in the feast in the air (1Co15:51-54; 1Th4:14-17),
He overcomes poverty, suffering, persecution etc all trials (Lk22:28-30).
He keeps the word and does not deny the name Yeshua (Rev3:8),
Looks after the least of the brothers (Mt25:31-46) —
For many are called but few are chosen (Mt22:14).

O Lord,
Although I shout that I know the Lord (Lk13:26),
Even demons know You (Jas2:19)!
So I sincerely ask that I become one whom the Lord knows.
When I am persecuted because of the word and the name Yeshua,
Lord, remember me (1Sa20:14-15; 2Ki20:3)! Amen.
