Giving Thanks In the Name of Our Lord Jesus
(Ps79:13, 100:1-5; Eph5:20)

God is good.
His love endures forever (Ps136:1), and
He finally leads His people, the sheep of His pasture to a level ground (Ps79:13, 143:10).

Faith is receiving His remedy as the best and giving thanks for Yeshua being the Lord.
The life of this faith is not fearing wherever He leads and never losing thanksgiving (Ps23).

When things go well, everyone naturally gives thanks.
But when there is a disaster, disease, loss or injustice, then resentment erupts.
The power of the Christian is, however, that even if everything is confiscated from him
He never loses thanksgiving (Hab3:17-18).

Banished from the Garden of Eden (Ge3:24),
Adam became servant of the devil and became hellhound with him (Mt25:41) for
The devil succeeded in confiscating thanksgiving,
Even before confiscating health, materials or life (Ge3:1-6; Jn10:10).

Because of their slavery in Egypt for 430 years
The Israelites were drowning in their toil (Ex2:24), and
God sent Moses to bring them out.
Instead of giving thanks, however,
They complained about being pursued, the Red Sea, the wilderness, the lack of water and food,
The difficult path, the vegetation, the battles, the promised land etc.
Consequently, almost all of them fell in the wilderness and
Died without entering the promised land (Ps78:12-52).

God commanded them to give the thank offering in the sanctuary (Lev7:12) where
The golden vase of manna was for
The God of gods and the Lord of lords was their God, their Lord (Ps136:2-3).
Daniel, Jonah, Job etc (Da6:8-10; Job1:9-11, 21-22; Jnh2:9)
Never lost thanksgiving even in their last breath.

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would let all men know the true thanksgiving for
He is God’s remedy for all men, the Only Begotten Son (Jn3:16),
The good shepherd who lays down His life (Jn10:11).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
Entrusted His breath in the hand of the good Father (Jn10:17-18);
Judged the thief devil (Jn10:8, 10; 1Jn3:8); and
Gave His redeeming blood to all men (Eph1:7).

He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne and
He entered there ahead of His people (He6:20).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Lets those who believe Him know that
Yeshua is King, Lord, God and the Father (1Co12:3).

The saint is he who does not fear (Ps23:4)
Even if his possessions, job, health or breath is seized and
Gives generously even in extreme poverty (2Co8:2).
So he causes the devil to lose his attack and
After being tested he comes forth as gold (Job23:10; 1Pe1:7).
Finally, he receives back what he lost on earth (Job42:10) and is
Brought before the heavenly throne where
He will see the substance of thanksgiving (Rev11:16-17).

O Lord,
Our life is still full of unresolved situations and challenges, and
We do not know what kind of hardship awaits us in the future…
For only You know the way we take,
Even if we must starve,
Let us maintain our integrity and never sin with our lips.
Rather, let us only say these words:
Lord Yeshua, Thank You! Amen.
