He Who Prays

God is the God of honor.
What He speaks in His name He remembers and
What He speaks in His name He acts (Nu23:19).

Faith is knowing Him and trusting Him and
The life of this faith is without ceasing praying in His name (1Th5:17).

A man of honor is he who keeps his word.
He remembers what he said and
No matter what happens he keeps his word.

When Adam did not believe in the word that God spoke
But listened to the devil instead and sinned (Ge2:17, 3:4-6, 24),
God was dishonored and drove him out of the Garden and put a flaming sword around it;
Thereafter, the conversation between God and men became broken.

Nevertheless, for God does not disregard those who confess to Him and seek Him,
When Cain confessed the burden of the sin he committed
God gave him a mark of salvation right away (Ge4:13-15).
Facing his brother’s revenge, Jacob struggled with an angel all night and
Received the name Israel (Ge32:38; Hos12:4-5).
His descendants, Israel, groaned in their slavery and cried out to God who
Remembered His covenant and sent Moses (Ex2:23) who
Spoke to God about everything and received His instructions (Ex4:10-17), fulfilling the exodus.

The sanctuary that God instructed them to build in the wilderness (Ex25:8) was
A place prepared for the conversation between God and Israel for generations. Outside the veil of the Most Holy Place was the altar of burnt incense (Lev16:12-13) for which
Atonement was made with the blood of the atoning sin offering and
Its fragrance was to always fill the Most Holy Place (Ex30:1-10).
It was where the name Jehovah was (2Ch2:4-6) and
The prayer towards the temple brought forgiveness and salvation (1Ki8:27-30).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:16-19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would give the right to pray to Not only a selected people in a designated earthly place in Jehovah’s name,
But also to all nations in the name Yeshua (Is56:6-7; Mk11:17-18).

Though He is the Son of God (He5:7-10), while in the flesh, He prayed
Following His habit from very early in the morning (Mk1:35; Lk22:39), and
On the last night He cried out as His sweat dropped like blood (Mt26:36-46; Lk22:44).

As He died, the temple veil tore and He said, “It is finished” (Mt27:51; Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave glory to the Father for He prayed to Him who was able to save Him from Hades and He was heard (Jnh2:2; He5:7);
2) Judged the devil who put a wall between God and man (1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood redeemed the souls of all men (1Pe1:19), pleading the Father for His forgiveness for them, His blood cry (Lk23:34; He12:24).

He resurrected and ascended to the heavenly throne, and
He is interceding for the souls whom He bore in His blood (Rm8:34; He7:25),
Filling up the heavenly sanctuary with the smoke of incense.

The Holy Spirit whom He sent comes in the name Yeshua to such souls and the church.
He lets them know that as children of God (Jn1:12)
They have the duty to confess daily and the right to ask whatever (Jn14:13-14).

The receiver of prayer is the Father in heaven (Mt6:9-13);
The purpose of prayer is for the glory of the name Yeshua and the honor of His kingdom;
The content of prayer is to lay down my will and let the Father’s will be done;
The process is that angels carry the incense of the prayers of saints and pour it at the golden altar before the throne (Rev8:3-4);
The place is the house of prayer for all nations and elsewhere (Mt18:20; Mk11:17); and
The guarantee is that whatever you ask in His name He will do.

A disciple is a man of prayer who makes prayer his last resort so prays always (2Sa12:23; Eph6:18).
He prays to not fall into temptation and be delivered from evil (Mt6:13; Lk22:46).
He never gives up because the answer is already given the moment he prays (Da9:23, 10:12-13).
He serves through prayer (Lk2:37)
His kingdom, His body the church, pastors, and fellow brothers (Mt6:33; Rm1:18; Eph6:19-20).

O Lord,
For the man that the devil fears is
He who does not yield to the circumstances but
Continues praying without ceasing,
Give us all the power to pray! Amen.
