The True Worshipers
(Ps132:7; Jn4:17-26)

God is worthy to be worshiped.
To be worshiped
He created the spiritual heaven, the angels,
The heavens of the universe and man.
He seeks those who truly worship Him (Jn4:23) and
Brings them before Him to worship Him forever (Rev22:4).

Worship means meeting with God, seeing the face of God, serving God.
Faith is longing to worship God (Ps42:1-4) and
The life of faith is worshipping successfully while on earth.

The archangel who attempted to become the object of worship himself
Desecrated the heavenly sanctuary (Eze28:18), is
Satan who was then was contained in Hades (Is14:12-15) and
Deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden to commit the same sin, the devil (Ge3:4-6).

The Bible is the history of God seeking worship:
Abel who gave a better sacrifice than his brother and
Gave successful worship and died, yet still speaks (Ge4:2-10; He11:4);
Abraham who gave his only son as a burnt sacrifice on the designated mountain and
Gave successful worship according to the revelation,
Receiving many descendants and gaining the cities of their enemies (Ge22:1-18); and
The Israelites, the kingdom of priests and a holy nation, who worshipped
Following the regulations in the earthly sanctuary (Ex19:6; He8:5, 9:1-11).

Despite the fact that they were to worship God
Only before the altar of the LORD in the Temple of Jerusalem (Dt12:17; 2Ch32:12; Is27:14),
Every New Moon and every Sabbath (Is66:23),
They worshipped other gods, other ways and so were cursed (Nu26:61; Dt8:19; Mal1:12-13).

The prophesied One, who was despised, abhorred by the nation, the servant of rulers came
To be worshipped by nations and kings — that is, Yeshua (Is49:7).
He said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19-20), because
In the Father’s name Yeshua (Jn5:43), not in the name Jehovah,
In the tabernacle not made by human hands, that is not part of this creation (He9:11),
With the blood not of animal sacrifice but of Christ, of God (He9:12),
He would truly worship God only (Mt4:9-10).

In spite of the historical background (1Ki12:1-33):
1) Jeroboam — 10 tribes — the Northern Kingdom — a high place in Bethel — in Spirit;
2) Rehoboam — 2 tribes — the Southern Kingdom — the Temple of Jerusalem — in truth,

To the gentile woman who longed for worship
Yeshua revealed about Himself and let her meet Him for
God seeks true worshippers (Jn4:18-25).

As His flesh tore like the veil (Mt27:61) and He died,
He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave His flesh as a fragrant offering and sacrifice and worshiped the Father (Eph5;2);
2) Judged the devil who left his position, his proper dwelling (Jude1:6); and
3) With His blood cleansed all men and let them serve God (He9:14).

He resurrected and ascended to the true heaven and
Eternally worships God before Him (He9:24).

The Holy Spirit lets the souls cleansed by the blood of Yeshua,
Gathered around the name Yeshua (Mt18:20)
On the Lord’s Day (Mt28:1; Ac20:7; Rev1:10)
Worship Him in spirit and truth.

The true worshippers worship Yeshua with:
1) Holiness — set apart from the world;
2) Offerings — not holding back even one’s only son;
3) Faith — seeing Him who is unseen; and
4) Martyrdom — giving the last worship on earth.

O Lord,
Let us all give You our best and final worship on earth.
Church of Jesus!
Let us become the church that gives the best worship on earth!
Let us be found and chosen as the true worshippers whom God seeks so
We can go to heaven and serve You face to face for eternity! Amen.
