God Will Not Surpass the Bible
(Jn10:34-35; 2Ti3:15-16)

God is eternal (Dt33:27).
His existence, attributes, and character are all eternal, and
His word is the same yesterday, today and forever (Ps119:89; 1Pe1:23-25).

Faith is believing the Bible as-is, as the word of God and
The life of this faith is having the word written on the heart (He8:10), trusting and living according to the Bible.

The Bible has the greatest authority over all books because it contains the word of God (Jn10:35):
1) Its origin — God, the Holy Spirit — “all Scripture is God-breathed” (2Ti3:15);
2) It contains the record of how the word was fulfilled — the past — prophecies and covenants (Mt11:13; Jn19:30);
3) It shows how the word is still being fulfilled — the present — signs, the truth (Mk16:20); and
4) It applies to all men — whether they know or not, believe or not, no one is irrelevant — for eternal life (Jn3:16, 5:39).

Deceived by the devil Adam disobeyed the word of God (Ge3:4-5) and
Death came to all men (Rm5:12), bound for hell with the devil (Mt25:41).

To Israel God gave the law and the commandments, a covenant of salt (2Ch13:5), and
Promised to remember His covenant with them forever (Ps105:8) for
God does not change or lie (Ps89:34; Mal3:6; He6:17-18).

The sanctuary which God instructed them to build had
The stone tables inscribed by the finger of God (Dt9:10) and the name Jehovah (1Ki8:16),
While the prophets read the scroll in the house of God
Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and spoke the word to the people (Eze3:3-4).

So when Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19),
It upset the Jews who then later handed Him over to death (Mt26:61).
But what He would do was through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
Not in the name Jehovah but in the Father’s name Yeshua (Jn5:43),
Fulfill according to the writing, not only that by the hands of men
But also the writing about Him written before the creation (Ps40:7, 139:16).
Thus the Word became flesh, God came as the Son of Man (Jn1:1, 14).

Yeshua gave the greatest authority to the Scriptures and did everything to fulfill them (Lk4:16-21):
From His birth, His public life, the betrayal of a disciple, to His suffering, His death and
His resurrection (Mt2:5-6, 4:3-10, 8:17, 26:24; Jn13:18, 15:25; 1Co15:3-4).

According to the writing He hung on a tree (Dt21:23) and
As He died He said, “I am thirsty” (Ps22:15-18, 69:3, 21; Jn19:28),
Fulfilling everything that was written about Him.
So He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Died according to the Father’s commandment from before the creation (Jn10:18);
2) Judged the devil the origin of sin (1Jn3:8); and
3) According to the Bible died for the sins of all men (1Co15:3).

According to the writing He resurrected (Am9:11; Ac2:27; 1Co15:4),
Giving the greatest authority to the Bible and the assured basis of faith to the disciples.
He ascended to the heavenly throne where
He holds the original copy of the Bible (Rev5:1-9).

According to the Scripture the Holy Spirit came (Eze47:8; Zec14:8; Jn7:38)
To those who believe the Bible and the words of Yeshua.
He opens their hearts to understand the Bible (Lk24:44-48; Ac16:14),
Writes the word in their minds and on their hearts (Jn14:26; He8:10).
To this day He lets them experience
The written word of the Bible in the name Yeshua (Mk16:17-18; Jn10:35).

The Christian is he who
Daily studies the Bible, receives the word with great eagerness and
Examines the basis of his faith (Jn5:39; Ac17:11).
He receives the teaching and obeys the word as is (2Ti3:15-16):
Baptism (Ac8:38-39), worship (Mt18:20, 28:1; Rev1:8), prayer (Jn14:14) etc.
Therefore, even in dark times of worries and anxieties
He is led by the written word and does not lose heart (Ps23; Mt6:25-34) for
He longs for the written word that says
“Death has been swallowed up” to be applied to him on the last day (1Co15:54).

O Lord,
Like You,
On this one single book of the Bible
Let me bet all my possession, all my life, all my soul.
Let us all yearn to experience on this day the power of the word of God according to the Bible!
Let the Bible be the greatest treasure for us all and our families! Amen.
