God Will Not Surpass the Truth
(Ps119:43; Jn14:6)

God is the God of truth (Ps31:5).
Truth comes from Him (Jn1:17) and His words are true (He6:18).
He gives birth through the word of truth (Jas1:18) and
He nurtures through the word of truth (Ecc12:10-11).
Faith is believing the word of truth and
The life of this faith is discernibly hearing the word of truth (Job12:11; 2Ti2:15) and responding
according to the word (He6:7-8).

Truth refers to a principle that does not change.
While men attempt to exam it and arrive at it through science and religion,
They can never achieve it because this world, its traces and men all change,
Following the truth of nature that God placed in the creation in the beginning (Ge1).

The only truth is the law, the word (Ps119:142; Jn17:17), which is
What God wants men as souls to hear:
The word of the truth (Col1:5), the word of the Son (He1:2), the word of Christ (Rm10:17),
The word of the Lord (He2:3), the word of faith (Rm10:8).

But Adam the ancestor of mankind listened to the words of the serpent, the devil (Rev12:9), who
In the spiritual heaven listened to his own heart and left his proper position (Is14:12-15),
Consequently contained in Hades until the great day of judgment (Jude1:6),
Ate the forbidden fruit and sinned (Ge3:4-6).
All men became bound for hell (Mt25:41) desiring to hear lies for their father is a liar (Jn8:44).

When warned by God, Noah by faith built an ark and
Saved his family from the deluge that destroyed all men (He11:7),
While Lot’s sons-in-law considered the angels’ warning as a joke and
They were destroyed with Sodom by burning sulfur (Ge19:14-25).

The Law of Moses given to Israel warned them to not be deceived, that
There is no other true god but the LORD (Ex20:1-7) which was reminded through
The temple where the name Jehovah was and
The tablets of the covenant law that Moses brought down
After speaking with the LORD were (Ex34:29-32).

In spite of that, the people foolishly did not lend their ears to the prophets who
Spoke the word of the LORD that came to them (1Ki18:1).
Instead, they listened to the enticing words of the false prophets who
Never heard from God (Eze13:6, 8-9) and thus the curse continued (Jer27:9-10; Da9:13).

Yet there was a prophecy of the LORD returning to
Jerusalem which would be called the City of Truth (Zec8:3) and
One who would have true instruction in his mouth, nothing false found on his lips (Mal2:6).

Yeshua came and said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
In not the name of Jehovah but Yeshua the Father’s name (Jn5:43),
He would let all hear the word spoken not through angels or Moses (Mt17:1-5; He2:2)
But through the Son, that is the word of the truth (He1:1-2).
He is the incarnate Word who was with the true Father in the beginning (Jn1:1, 14),
The Truth who cannot lie: Yeshua = the truth, the word of Yeshua = the word of the Father,
The word of the Father = the truth (Jn14:6, 24, 17:17).
As such, He warned them to listen to His words (Mt17:5; Jn5:46-47, 10:25).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Laid down His life as the last Adam according to the Father’s word spoken to the first Adam,
testifying that the Father’s word is truth (Ge2:17, 3:4; Jn10:18, 17:17; 1Co15:45);
2) Judged the devil the liar (Ge3:4; Jn8:44; 1Jn3:8); and
3) By coming in the likeness of sinful flesh fulfilled the requirement of the Law (Rm8:3-4) and
with His blood, the word of the truth, gave birth to children (1Pe1:23; Jas1:18).

His resurrection is the truth for
It testified that Yeshua is the truth, the true God (Jn11:25, 14:6; 1Jn5:20).

The Spirit of truth whom He sent from the heavenly throne
Reminds of the word of Yeshua in those born again in His blood (Jn14:26, 16:13).

The Christian knows the truth that set him free from the law of sin and death (Jn8:31-32; Rm8:1-2).
Therefore in freedom he does according to the truth (Jas1:22-25).
Discerning between the word of the truth and false teaching (1Co2:13-14),
He rejects empty words that sound sweet to the ear and
Rather loves to hear the words that correct, rebuke and encourage (1Ti6:3-5; 2Ti4:1-4).
He boasts the truth (Php3:7-9) and
Strives to become a pillar of the church built on the foundation of the truth (1Ti3:15; Rev3:12).

O Lord,
Nothing in this world is true, no word in this world is true
Except the word of the Truth, Yeshua!
What an honor it is for this foolish man, this rubbish life to know this precious truth!
Only the truth let us all hear, speak and live accordingly and
Until You return let the Church of Jesus continue to declare the word of the Truth alone! Amen.
