Know the Lord
(Is11:9; He8:11)

God is the God of revelation.
He reveals Himself according to His ways and
To those whom He wants He reveals (Mt11:25; Lk8:10).

Faith is knowing the Lord and believing Him and
The life of this faith is knowing the Lord to become mature to the whole measure of the fullness
of Christ (Eph4:13), obeying His word and experiencing (Mt28:20).

Knowledge is power.
While humans develop as they learn through school, books and teachers,
We are now inundated with a flood of knowledge by information and technology.
Yet man cannot know the absolute divine through bodies of knowledge, philosophy or religion for
It is only possible by the word of God’s revelation, that is, the Bible (Jn5:39; 2Pe1:20-21).

Adam was deceived by the devil and sinned, thus banished from the Garden (Ge2:17, 3:4-6).
Thereafter the Garden became shielded by the flaming sword (Ge3:24) and
No man could know God.

God chose Israel to be
The people who know the Lord God (Dt7:9.9:3):
The exodus, the 40-year journey in the desert (Ps95:10),
Giving them the Law and building the sanctuary.

However, the people and even the priests became scoundrels (1Sa2:12) for
They did not know the Lord (Is1:3).
Thus, the prophets pleaded them to know the Lord (Hos4:6, 6:3).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
The earth would be filled with the knowledge of the Lord (Is11:9),
For He knew the Father from whom He came (Jn7:29) and
Where He came from and where He was going (Jn8:14).
While the blind who received sight recognized Him (Jn9:25-33),
The Jews only had the knowledge of Moses (Jn9:29) and not the prophecy of the prophets thus
Not recognizing Yeshua (Is6:9).

As they put Him to death, Yeshua said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that:
1) The water and the blood that came out of His torn flesh the veil filled the earth with the knowledge of the Lord (Is11:9; He10:20);
2) He judged the god of the world who blinded the minds of the people (2Co4:4); and
3) With His blood He washed the eyes of the souls of men so they may recognize Him (Jn9:11).

He rose and sat on the heavenly throne and
The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Lets believers know the Lord (1Co2:10, 12:3).

The man of the Spirit is he who is
Resolved to know nothing except Jesus Christ crucified (1Co2:2) for
Knowing Christ is the great surpassing knowledge (Php3:8).
Therefore he counts as rubbish
All arguments, knowledge, opinion (2Co10:4-5) and
Fills up with the knowledge of knowing the Lord and
Teaches only the word of the Lord to obey for
He fears that in the last day the Lord may say He does not know him (Mt7:23).

O Lord,
He who knows the Lord
Could never not love the Lord,
He who loves the Lord
Could never not serve the Lord.
Let me and all You have given me and my offspring
Know the Lord! Amen.
