For the Body of the Lord the Church
(Col1:18, 24-25)

God is the Lord of life.
Life comes from Him and
He finally raises to life those who want to remain attached to Him to live.

Faith is knowing who my Head (Lord) is and that I am a member of His body.
The life of this faith is for the body of the Lord the church rejoicing in suffering and filling up afflictions in one’s flesh.

While the world sees those focused on the church life as foolish
He who knows he is a living spirit strives to be
A member of the church, the body of the Lord of life.
This is because depending on whose body one is attached his fate is determined for
The body and its members cannot be separated in their life relationship, and
Its members cannot live independent of the body.

In spite of the fact that Adam is a living spirit who cannot live independently
He was deceived by the devil and sinned, because of which he was cut off from God and
Belonged to the devil to go to hell with him (Mt25:41; 1Jn3:8).

Thereafter, while all men collectively took ground and developed civilization escaping extinction,
God deluged and destroyed them all but Noah and his family inside the ark.

The promise that God made to Abraham (Ge17:6) was for
His descendants the Israelites to multiply.
As such, while they were in the assembly in the wilderness for 40 years (Ac7:38)
They ate manna and kept the living oracles, they survived.

As they were surrounded by gentiles and always faced risk for their survival
The sanctuary where the manna vase and the stone tables were placed was
Thus extremely important to them.

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-22),
He would become the true bread that gives life to the soul (Jn6:31-35) and
Also the way of life (Jn11:25, 14:6) commanding to
Remain attached to Him like a branch and drink the sap (Jn15:8).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Offered up His life to the Father who will raise Him back to life (Jn10:18);
2) Judged the divider the devil (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Sprinkled His blood on souls and gave them life (Lev17:11).

He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne as the Lord of life (Ac3:15).
He is the foundation of life, the firstborn from the dead (Col1:18).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent came and
The church was born, that is the body that has Yeshua as the Head (Eph1:22, 23), and
The body of Christ to follow the resurrection of Yeshua the Head (1Co15:20) and
Come out to the first resurrection when He returns (Col1:24).

The Christian is he who: Knows that he is a member — adheres to the church (Rm12:4-13);
Puts effort to stay alive — breathes (prayer) — nourished (the Word) — excretes (repents);
Knows his own importance — when a member suffers every member suffers; and
Keeps his position — leaving it means to be burned up (Jn15:6; Jude1:6).

Regardless of the test or the suffering
He does not leave the body of the Lord the church (Jn15:4).
Rather he puts effort to serve faithfully his function (Rm12:4-13; 1Co12:13-27) so that
Until being taken up with the church on the day the Lord returns (Re21:2)
He longs to have his soul be nurtured and protected (Eph5:29).

O Lord,
The Church of Jesus celebrating her 34th Anniversary!
I am a soul, a member of the body of the Lord of life, the church, who must remain attached!
Let me and all You have given me remain attached like branches! Amen.
