He Who Keeps Watch
(Mt24:36-51; 2Pe3:1-13)

God has a will (Ps40:8).
For His dispensation following His will He does what He predestined (Eph1:9) and
Through signs and prophecies He lets this be known and warns ahead (Lk21:7-13).

Faith is knowing the will of the Lord and believing it, and
The life of this faith is keeping watch and preparing for the day of the Lord to be taken to a new heaven and a new earth (2Pe3:12-13).

While humans are beings that feel the passing and the pressing of time, as they constantly express
The Bible is the announcement regarding God’s dispensation and predestination.
Regardless of different theories on the end of the world,
Such as global warming, famine, nuclear war etc,
In the last day, time that began with light will end with the destruction of light itself (Ge1:3-5) and
The universe will become the eternal lake of fire, hell (2Pe3:7; Rev20:10, 14-15)

All mankind was deceived by the devil and sinned (Ge3:4-6), and
Became his slaves and hell-bound with him (Mt25:41; 2Pe2:19).

The history of the Bible illustrates the warning of the end and the events fulfilled accordingly.
In the year that a man named Methuselah (“end”) died (Ge5:25),
As God warned Noah (Ge6:5-7, 7:11-12),
By waters the entire world was deluged and destroyed (2Pe3:6).

In less than a day since the arrival of the angels who warned (Ge18:20, 19:1),
Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by the brimstone fire (Ge19:15, 23).

The time of the predestined deliverance of Israel and the destruction of Egypt (Ge15:13) had
Already begun when the baby Moses was drawn out from the water (Ex2:10, 24; 1Co10:1-2).

The sanctuary where the name Jehovah and Aaron’s budded staff (Nu17:4-5) were
Reminded Israel that they were the people of God who revealed through signs and prophecies.

As the prophet said that the Lord will suddenly appear before the temple (Mal3:1-6) and
Of the coming wrath (Mt3:1-12),
Yeshua came and said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-22),
He would reveal that He is the predestined Christ (Ac3:20) who came to fulfill God’s dispensation.
He is the incarnate Word in the beginning who
Came as the Son in the last days (Jn1:1, 14; He1:2; 1Pe1:20) and
The returning King coming in all glory at the end of the world (Mt16:27).
As such, He warned the disciples to keep watch (Mt25:1-13).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that:
1) The moment His breath was cut off all God’s dispensation was fulfilled (Eph1:9-10);
2) Judged the devil the origin of sin (Is14:12-15; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood redeemed all men and fulfilled God’s will from before the creation, of letting them become His children (Eph1:4-7).

His resurrection is the sign greater than Jonah, the sign of His return (Mt12:39-40; Lk12:41).
He sat on the heavenly throne as God’s eternal purpose was accomplished (Eph3:11; He1:2).

The dispensation of God is:
The Era of Deity consciousness (Adam—Noah);
The Era of Sacrifice (Noah—Moses);
The Era of the Law (Moses—Jesus Christ);
The Era of Grace (the Pentecost—the return of Christ);
The Millennium (the return of Christ—the End).

When Christ returns — the rapture — the first resurrection (1Co15:20-23, 51-52):
Those dead in Christ (in paradise) —> raised to the imperishable —> in the air (1Th4:16-17);
Those still alive (on earth) —> suddenly transformed, taken up —> in the air (Rev19:7).

After the Great Judgment of Christ (2Co5:12; 2Ti4:1) will be:
The second resurrection —> the second death —> the lake of fire, hell (1Co15:24; Rev20:12-14).

The “man of lawlessness,” the antichrist will be revealed and his power to unite the world possible
For God will put into the hearts of men to accomplish His purpose (Rev17:17).
Once the one who holds his power back, that is, the church (2Th2:3-8), is taken up
The torment in the world will drive even those so-called believers to give up faith, heading to hell.

A disciple made by the Spirit is he who
Therefore keeps watch by
Seeing the signs of the end times, such as great earthquakes, famines, pestilences (Lk21:10-11),
Technologies ready to unify and control the entire world and the increased wickedness (Mt24:12).
To escape the burning universe and arrive in a new heaven and a new earth (2Pe3:13),
He puts every effort to gather all the more as that day approaches (He10:25) and
Whenever, wherever the Master returns
He hopes to be found as a faithful servant doing the work of raising souls to life (Mt25:45-46).

O Lord,
Seeing all the signs in the world right now
We are certain that the end times have come.
How You have revealed this immense mystery regarding the universe and its schedule!
Let us all wake up! Let us move!
Amen. Come, Lord, Yeshua!
