The Unity in the Lord

The Unity In the Lord

God is the Lord of all (1Co15:28).
He made all things (Ac4:24),
He is above all and unites all and
He is in all (Eph4:6).

Faith is being called in one hope (Eph4:4) and
The life of this faith is becoming united in the Lord.

“All” refers to the state of all things being united, that is a united entity.
The United States of America is made up of 50 states with
People of different languages, cultures and customs,
United by one hope — of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Likewise, any family or organization ought to be united in one hope.

While God created all living things, each according to its kind (Ge1:11),
Among the people He made as one flesh and blood
He made only one man a living being (Ge2:7; Ac17:26) for
God had the purpose of uniting all through the last Adam (Ma2:15).

All men who initially had only one language as one people (Ge10:5),
After the global flood, they were separated into various nations and peoples, since
God confused their language and scattered them (Ge11:1-8).
For man was deceived by the devil and sinned, and separated from God,
It was only natural for him to be divided (Ge3:4-6, 24).

After being delivered from their slavery in Egypt
The Israelites lived in the wildness for 40 years
Being led by the same pillar of fire, eating the same manna and living under the same Law.

After they entered Canaan, however, they married gentiles and served their gods (Ezr10:2-3).
Though they were destroyed because of it
They did not give up on their help of the restoration of Israel for
All their hope was on the Temple of Jerusalem (Job14:7; Ps27:4).

Yeshua said, “Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), for
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would become the living hope of all nations (Is11:10; Rm15:12; 1Pe1:4).

Even though the disciples who had been with Him during His public life had
All deserted Him (Mt26:31-33),
As He died alone, Yeshua said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Brought all things (including death) into submission and submitted into the Father and thus
was absorbed into the Father of all things (Lk23:46; Jn10:18; Rm8:38-39; 1Co15:27-28);
2) Judged the devil the separator (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) Made all mankind one in His blood (1Co15:22; Eph1:7).

He resurrected and sat on the heavenly throne —
The throne of God and of the Lamb, that is, He is the Lord of all (Rev22:3).

The Spirit of unity comes in the name Yeshua
To the believers born again in His blood and
Unites them in the body of Christ, the Church.

The Christian has the one hope his calling as resurrection, eternal life (Ac23:6).
Therefore, he puts effort to keep the unity of the Spirit (Eph4:1-3), that is
In His house, the Church (1Ti3:15; He3:6).
Through humility, gentleness, patience and forgiving one another,
He strives to cling to the Church (Rev21:10-21) for
He longs to be absorbed into the air
When the Lord returns.

O Lord,
Let us acknowledge our differences and
Not be separated over small things.
Let our egos be mercilessly cut and
With eternal life and truth let us be united in one heart. Amen.
