A Debtor to Grace
(Lk7:41-42; Rm1:14-17)

God is the Lord of grace.
He gives the best by grace, and
Lets those who receive grace as debt and pay back
Come before the throne of grace in the kingdom of heaven and serve Him (Rev22:3).

Faith is knowing that one has received God’s grace and
The life of this faith is paying back the debt as the priority of life (Rm8:12) for one knows that
Even between humans ungrateful people are not to be associated with
While those with bad credit are not to do credit transactions with.

The Bible is a history of grace—redemption—debt—servants—accounting.
Grace: priceless gift;
Redemption: pay a price and buys back;
Debt: the lender and the borrower;
Servant: the debtor is servant to the lender;
Accounting: in the last day accounts will be settled.

Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned and was sold as a slave to the devil (Is50:1) and
All men became held in slavery by their fear of death all their lives (He2:15).
Israel was redeemed from their slavery of 400 years by grace (Ex15:13) and
Became the people of Jehovah (Ex19:6; 1Ch17:21).

The sanctuary where the atonement cover above the ark (the mercyseat) was (Ex25:7) or
The ransom that redeemed the Levites in place of all the firstborns of Israel (Nu3:45-49) or
The year of the release where at the end of every seven years
Every creditor had to cancel any loan they made to their fellow Israelite (Dt15:1-3) were
All reminders of the grace of Jehovah for generations (Ps111:4).

According to the prophecy those in debt (sinners) gathered around Yeshua (1Sa22:2; Zec8:22) and
When He said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,”
He angered the Jews who longed for the year of the LORD’s favor (Is61:2)
But through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would redeem not with animal or silver (shekels) (Nu3:47)
But by the precious blood of the One and Only Son the souls of all nations (1Pe1:18-19)
For the redemption of souls is costly, no payment is ever enough (Ps49:7-8).

The Word in the beginning, the God of grace came in the flesh (Jn1:1-2, 14)
To give His life as a ransom for many (Mt20:28; Jn1:29).
While His disciples healed the sick, it was freely giving what they freely received (Mt10:8).

He prophesied of His death, resurrection and return, that is,
The day when He would settle accounts with His servants (Mt18:23-24) and
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave thanks for the Father’s favor of raising Him back to life after His death (Jnh2:8-9; Jn10:17-18);
2) Judged the devil the ungrateful one (Ge3:4-6); and
3) Through His death redeemed all men and gave His blood as a ransom (Gal3:13; 1Ti2:6).

He resurrected and
Sat on the heavenly throne of grace (He4:16; Rev22:1).

The Holy Spirit lets the believers know His grace (1Co2:12): 1) By the precious blood they have been redeemed, that is, forgiven of sins (Eph1:7; 1Pe1:18);
2) They are freely justified (Rm3:24); and
3) They received sonship to become heirs of God (Gal4:5-7).

The Christian is he who received grace, a debtor.
1) As a debtor who can never pay back, he becomes an eternal servant to the Lender;
2) According to the gifts received by grace he serves the church (Rm12:4-6);
3) He pays back the debt of the gospel by forgiving the transgressions of his brothers (Mt18:23-24)
and preaching to all nations the gospel of grace (Lk24:47; Ac20:24; Rm1:5, 14);
4) He considers the chance to serve the Lord as grace for he is an unworthy servant (Lk17:7-10)
and thus prioritizes the work that he ought to do and does it gratefully,

For when the Lord returns,
He yearns for the redemption of his body, that is, the resurrection to life (Rm8:21-23).

O Lord,
For the redemption of the soul is so costly that You did not do it with anything else
But sent the One and Only Son…
For a dead dog like me (2Sa9:8)!
I have received grace! I am a debtor!
Let me for the rest of my life make it my priority to
Daily pay back this debt of love. Amen.
