God Will Not Surpass the Church 3: The Body of Christ
(Rm12:1-5; Eph1:22-23, 5:29-32)

God is one (Dt6:4; Jas2:19).
He alone is the being that He is, He alone has the attributes that He has.
He gives enteral life to those who know the One whom the only God sent as the Son (Jn17:3).

Faith is believing that the Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit are one God and
The life of this faith is through the Holy Spirit becoming members of the body whose Head is Christ and carrying out one’s duty.

While the head, the body and its members have different forms and functions,
They are one having one common body of life and fate.
The treatment for the members of the body, whether alive or dead, depends on whose body it is.

Deceived by the devil, that is, Satan who in heaven wanted to be like God (Is14:12-15; Eze28:12-17),
Adam, the only one made as a living being (Ge2:7; Mal2:15) sinned and
All men became slaves of the devil bound for hell (Ge3:4-6; Mt25:41) as
He challenged the uniqueness of God.

Chosen as the only people of Jehovah
Israel was shown through many signs and wonders that the LORD is God (Dt4:34-39).
The countless commandments they received all followed the universal commandment,
“You shall have no other gods before me” (Ex20:3).
The sanctuary where the name Jehovah was engrained in them that
Jehovah alone is the first and the last (Is44:6), and
He alone created the heavens and fashioned the earth (Is45:18).

In spite of that, however, destruction came to Israel for
They had forgotten the former things and worshipped other gods (Is46:9; Jer1:16) and
They did not seek help from the LORD but from other nation (Is31:1-3).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” and
Angered the Jews who were steeped in monotheism but
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21)
He would reveal, not in the name Jehovah delivered through the angel,
But in the name of the Father Yeshua brought by the Son (Jn5:43) His own uniqueness.
He is the Word in the beginning, the only God who came as man (Jn1:1-2, 14) and
Thus said, He and the Father the Creator are one (Jn10:29-30) and
No one can come to the Father except through Him (Jn14:6).

In the parable of the vine and the branches (Jn15:5-7) He illustrated that
Souls must remain attached to Yeshua, which means to obey His word
In order to not perish in hell but have eternal life (Jn17:3).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) According to the Father’s command (Jn10:18), fell and died like a kernel of wheat to bear
much fruit, that is, to become the Head of many members (Jn12:24);
2) Judged the devil who left his proper position (Jude1:6); and
3) With His blood redeemed the first Adam and became the only Mediator between God and mankind (1Ti2:5),
a way for the souls who receive His blood to become His members.

He resurrected and ascended to heaven.
Sitting on the throne He became the Lord (Head) of life (Ac3:15).

Coming by the agreement of the Father and the Son (Jn14:16), the Holy Spirit lets believers know:
The Head of the Church = Yeshua (Eph1:22),
The Church = the body of Christ (Eph1:23), and
Saints = members of the Church whose Head is Yeshua (Eph5:30).

For the time of the wedding of the Lamb is near (Rev19:7-9, 21:2)
The Holy Spirit protects, nurtures and prepares the radiant church (Eph5:27) and
Made overseers for the church, pastors (Ac20:28-31).
He leads the members who received different gifts, duties from the Spirit
To have no division in the body but have equal concern for each other (1Co12:4-27).

The Christian is he who is strong in member consciousness:
I soul shall live! For only when I live, the body lives and members live!
Full of the desire to live, he obeys the Lord’s command;
He carries out his function well and cooperates with other members’ duties —
the mouth, the eye, the hand, the stomach etc; and
Like a member of Christ he carries himself holy and noble (1Co6:15).

O Lord,
All cells, tissues, organs…how they earnestly serve their functions and cooperate with each other!
Let there be none like cancerous cells that are mutated and kill others.
Rather as members of the body of Christ
Let us raise up our own souls, the church and other members!
The only Mediator between God and mankind is the Yeshua Christ.
The only Mediator between Christ and the souls born again in His blood is the Church.
Let us understand this profound mystery! Amen.
