The Everlasting Relationship:
The Faith Relationship
(Rm8:9-11)

God is the Lord of faith (He12:2).
Faith comes from Him and
He rewards those who believe Him (He11:6).
 
Faith is believing that God lives as a person and making a relationship with Him.
The life of this faith is sustaining the faith relationship to the end for the salvation of my soul (1Pe1:9).
 
Whether by choice or fate, all humans form relationships and
Even though they complicate the human life, without them, humans would not be humans.
The success or failure of one’s life depends on the success or failure of one’s relationships.
Yet they endure only as long as the flesh lives.
 
The Bible shows that my relationship with God must be the relationship of faith (He11:6) and
It must be an everlasting one for it has an eternal outcome (Jn3:16, 17:3).
 
While everyone lives by faith:
•    Self-confidence — the faith of the natural people — based on one’s own knowledge and faith;
•    Faith — the faith of God — based on God’s word and the Bible,
Faith is the only adhesive between God and man, and by faith, everything is possible (Mk9:23).
 
Faith is possessing the things hoped for (He11:1) and
Its purpose is to save my soul from hell (1Pe1:9).
Therefore I must believe:
1)  The one true living God (Mk11:22; Jn17:3);
2)  Creationism (Ge1:1-31): the theory of evolution is false;
3)  Two worlds: the material and the spiritual worlds; three spiritual beings (God, angels and men);
4)  The Bible: written by those inspired by the Spirit of God (2Ti3:15-17), and contains covenants and prophecies.
 
For God decided from everlasting to have an everlasting relationship with men,
He breathed the breath of life into the man made in the image of God (Ge1:27) and
The man became a living being, Adam (Ge2:7), the ancestor of all mankind.
Deceived by the devil, however, Adam believed not the word of God
But the word of the devil and ate the forbidden fruit (Ge2:17, 3:4-6), thus
All men became hell-bound with the devil (Mt25:41).
Yet God clothed the man and the woman in garments of skin (Ge3:21), a sign that
God would open the way for a relationship with mankind in the future.
 
Hebrews 11 demonstrates the men of faith and their actions, such as Abraham, Moses etc who
Heard the word of God and obeyed, which was acknowledged as faith.
 
Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He would save those who believe Him and His word as:
Jehovah—the Law—delivered by angel—salvation from wars, famine, plagues;
Yeshua—the Truth—by the Son—spiritual salvation/ eternal life.
 
For the joy set before Him Yeshua died and said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), for
The Word in the beginning, God, came in the flesh (Jn1:1-2, 14) and perfected faith (He12:2):
1)     He laid down His life following the Father’s command for He believed that He would receive it back (Jn10:17-18);
2)     He condemned the devil who sowed the seeds of doubt (Ge3:4-6; Mt13:25); and
3)     He sprinkled His redeeming blood to be received by believers for forgiveness (Eph1:7).
 
He resurrected and sat at the righthand of God as the Lord of faith.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God (Rm8:9) who came to the souls who believed (Jn1:12),
Possess the Spirit of Christ and belong to Christ (Rm8:9),
That is, by washing their sin with His blood (Jn13:8)
They have formed the faith relationship with Him.
 
The man of the Spirit is he who fears God and His word (Ge22:12), and
As this relationship is based on “knowing,” that is, having an experience (Lk1:37, 17:3),
He continues to obey the word of Yeshua — worship, gathering, pray, preaching etc — and
God acknowledges his faith by giving him experiences.
Therefore, he puts effort to crush
His pride, selfishness, stubbornness, logic, knowledge, which all weaken this relationship for
When the Lord returns, only those who belong to Him, that is,
Only the men of faith, will be taken (Lk18:8; Jn14:1-3; 1Co15:23).
 
O Lord,
What is man that God from everlasting decided to have a relationship with us, with me?
Even if I fail all at life, with all relationships…
Let me never fail this relationship with You!
For this everlasting relationship,
Let me crush whatever hinders and weakens it.
Lord of faith, give me faith!  Amen.
