The Holy Spirit Speaks the Truth
(1Jn4:1-6)

God is the true God (Jer19:19; 1Th1:9).
He only speaks the truth (He6:8; Rev19:9) and
The Son and the Holy Spirit who come from Him also speak the truth.

Faith is hearing the truth and believing it.
The life of this faith is, in order to receive the true life in the true heaven (1Ti6:19; He9:24),
Only speaking the truth and living according to what one speaks.

Human society is a language society.
Through language, humans convey their ideology and intentions, and induce actions.
As such, the history of mankind is intertwined with language.
A man’s life is determined by whose words he listens to and
A man’s worth is determined by whether he speaks truth or lies.

Nevertheless, the Bible indicates that only God speaks the truth for
Everyone is a liar (Ps116:11; Rm3:4) and this is due to the fact that
The ancestor of all mankind Adam was deceived by the father of lies and sinned (Ge3:4; Jn8:44).

The exodus of Israel testified that the word of God is true as
What God promised Abraham was fulfilled in 400 years (Ge15:13; Ex12:41).

The commandment given to them treated
Lying as a grave sin (Ex20:6; Lev19:11) and
The sanctuary where these commandments were inscribed on stone tablets of
The ark of the covenant law (Ex25:22) were
Reminded them that God speaks the truth (1Sa15:29).

However, the emergence of the false prophets who
Said those who would live would die and those who would die would live (Eze13:6, 19) was
The result of the people disliking the word of the LORD and liking to hear lies (Is30:9-10; Jer14:14).
For they were children of a liar since their ancestor and
God put a lying spirit in the mouths of the prophets (1Ki22:22-23).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19),
He would reveal that He is the One who speaks the truth (Jn5:31-32) for
He is the Word at the beginning who was with the Father in His bosom (Jn1:1, 14, 18),
Sent by the Father (Jn7:28-29, 8:13-18) and
Spoke only the Father’s words (Jn3:31-34).
But the Jews considered Him a liar for saying He was Christ, God (Jn7:26-27, 10:30-33), so
He was passed over to death.

As Yeshua died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1)     Through His death as the last Adam, testified that the Father’s word that commanded the first Adam that He would die was true (Ge2:17; 1Co15:45);
2)     Condemned the devil the liar (Ge3:4-6; Jn8:44); and
3)     Redeemed the sins of all men and by His blood gave them a chance to come to life again (Eph1:7; 2Co5:17).

His resurrection testified that His word is true and
He entered the true heaven (He9:24; Rev21:1) and
Sent the Spirit of truth to the church (Jn14:17, 15:26, 16:13) and
The church declares only the true words, the words of Yeshua.

The man of the Spirit is
He who was once deceived but now is no longer deceived or deceiving (Tit3:3).
He only listens to the truth and speaks the truth, not lying (Pro30:6; Ac26:25; Rm8:1), and
He does what he speaks because
Those who say, “Lord, Lord,” but have no fruit of actions
Cannot enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt7:13-27; Jas1:22) and
All liars will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur in the end (Rev21:8. 27, 22:15).

O Lord,
Am I really saved?
For this most important thing,
Let us not deceive ourselves.
Let us choose the narrow gate and
By continuing the rough road
Let us daily confirm whether our path is towards heaven or not.
Let us only speak the truth at home, work or wherever and
Do according to the truth! Amen.
