The Spirit Says to the Churches
(Rev2:7)
God has His own will (Jas1:18).
By His own will He calls and chooses (Rm9:11), and
By His own will He gives and appoints (Da5:21).
At this, no one can talk back to Him for He is the Creator who can do according to His will (Rm9:20).
Religion is an act by which humans on their own
Approach the divine and demand the divine to act,
An act that pretends to be a revelation from God (Eze13:3).
Faith, however, is honoring the will of God and longing to be His chosen and
The life of this faith is making every effort to confirm my calling and election,
So I never stumble and fall away (2Pe1:10).
The Bible records of those whom God called and spoke to,
Such as Adam—Noah—Abraham—Isaac—Jacob—Moses—the prophets etc.
Moses was called by God (Ex3:4) and
Chosen to speak clearly (Nu12:6-8; Ps106:23) and
Thus those who grumbled against him were cursed (Nu16:5-7).
The sanctuary was the mechanism by which Israel was reminded
That they were a chosen people (Dt7:7)
As God spoke to them from above the atonement-cover over the ark (Ex25:22).
Before this temple,
Yeshua said, “Destroy the temple and I will raise it again in three days,” angering them
But through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
God who spoke to their ancestors in the past (He1:1) would
Now speak through the Son (Jn1:1, 14; Lk9:35; Jn14:24-25).
As such, He called and chose the disciples (Mk3:13-15; Jn15:15-16).
While the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven was given to them,
To the calloused-hearts He spoke in parables (Mt13:11-15).
By those who opposed Him fiercely and cross-examined Him about many things (Lk11:53),
He was eventually passed over to death.
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Through His death acknowledged the Father’s will (Jn10:18);
2) Judged the devil who on his own attempted to ascend the throne (Is14:12-15); and
3) By His own will chose all mankind and redeemed them (Mt20:28; He2:16).
He resurrected and ascended to the heavenly throne,
Rejected by men but chosen by God (1Pe2:4).
The Holy Spirit called, gathered and chose
The souls saved by the blood of Yeshua
As the body of Yeshua, the Church (Eph1:22-23),
That is, the one to whom the Holy Spirit speaks.
For if there is no election, even Abraham’s descendants would fall away (Rm9:4-16),
There will be a remnant chosen by grace (Rm11:5-25).
The man of the Spirit knows that by grace he has heard the gospel, and
Therefore, even though it is unrealistic and burdensome,
Hears the words that the Holy Spirit says to the churches today (Rev22:18-19) and
Struggles to repent by all means (Rev2:16, 3:3, 19).
Until He who is to come comes (Rev1:4-7),
He puts effort to remain in the chosen church (1Pe5:13) and
Goes out and says what he hears (Rm11:4)
For he believes in what is to take place later and His promises (Rev1:19, 2:10).
O Lord,
God who can do whatever He wishes
Called me by grace and chose me as one to speak to…
Thank You for this amazing grace!
To death, I will testify Your word without adding or taking away a single dot or stroke.
Please call those who have not bowed their knees to Baal (Rm11:4).
O Lord, bless the Church of Jesus! Amen.
