Give Thanks

God is merciful.
His mercy endures forever and
To those who remember His mercy, He shows even greater mercy.

Faith is receiving Him and
The life of this faith is remembering Him in every season and giving thanks.

Satan, Lucifer, forgot to give thanks for his domain in heaven(Eze 28:13-15) and
Left his position that was for giving thanks(Is 14:12-15).
Consequently, he was brought down to the eternal darkness(Jude 1:6).

Deceived by Satan, i.e., the devil,
Adam forgot to whom he should thank and sinned;
As a result, he lost all things for which he would have given thanks(Ge 3:23).

Miraculously leaving Egypt after 430 years of slavery(Ex 12:29-32),
The Israelites walked through the sea and
Their beginning as a people was with thanksgiving(Ex 14:16-21, Ex 15:1-18).
Once they entered the desert, however,
They began to grumble(Ex 16:3).

Their history thereafter was
A repeat of complaints and thanksgiving according to their conditions and environments.

Thus, God made as law for them to give thanks
To Him for such unforgettable historical events, and
That was through the Lord’s feasts(Lev 23:1-44):
The Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, the Sabbath,
The Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacle etc.

The ordinances regarding them were:
1. Do no regular work;
2. Come to sacred assembly; and
3. Present thanksgiving offering(burnt offerings).
The sanctuary reminded them
To remember for generations that God brought them out of their slavery.

Jesus said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days”(Jn 2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body
He would fulfill the Law and give new reasons for thanksgiving.

As He died, He said, “It is finished”(Jn 19:30), declaring that He:
1. Gave Himself as a thanksgiving offering to the Father who appointed Him as
the Heir of all, and completed the Law, i.e., all feasts(He 1:2, He 8:3, He 10:9);
2. Condemned the ungrateful one(Eze 28:13-15; 1Jn 3:18); and
3. With His blood redeemed all men and showed mercy, and restored the
conditions for their thanksgiving(Mt 20:28; Rm 8:3).
The Father raised Him and
Jesus ascended to the heavenly throne and forever receives thanks there(Rev 11:17).

The Holy Spirit came in the name Yeshua and
Lets those who received His mercy know the reason for thanksgiving(1Co 2:10-12).

The Old Testament men gave thanks to Jehovah(Ex 3:14; Ps 136:1-26)
Because He was their: 1) God; 2) Lord; 3) King; and 4) Shepherd.

The New Testament men give thanks to Yeshua because He is their:
1. God(Jn 20:28);
2. Lord(Ac 2:36);
3. King(Mt 16:16);
4. Shepherd(Jn 10:11);
5. Father(Rm 8:16); and
6. Groom(Mt 22:2; Rev 21:9).
The man of the Spirit is
Completely satisfied by
Knowing Yeshua and receiving His name alone.
Therefore, he can surpass any tribulation or hardship(Rm 8:31-39), and
He always gives thanks.

O Lord,
My God, my Lord, my King, my Shepherd, my Father and my Groom!
I am greatly and completely satisfied with the name, Yeshua.
Thank You, thank You!
Amen.
