Greeting from the Pastor

Founded in 1985 by Rev. Sung-Kee Kang, a handful of Korean-speaking members grew into a diverse body committed to Christ’s Great Commission of teaching the truth and making disciples of all nations. Following much mission work, prayer, and years of planning, our Educational Building was completed in 2009 and the English Ministry was launched, led by Dr. Jo Kim.

 

Though we have expanded in number, we remain true to Pastor Kang’s original purpose: to glorify the Name of Jesus and pass His Truth – unaltered – to the next generations. Accordingly, we teach the word through the Logos Bible Institute here and in Europe.

 

There is no greater blessing than to know Christ, His works, and His words. Connect with us at Church of Jesus – hear His truth –  and join us in giving our Lord the glory due His Name.

Statement of Faith

  • the Bible was written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is the infallible Word of God.
  • the Bible is the model for saints’ faith and life.
  • the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one, the Trinity God.
  • Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son who was at the Father’s side.
  • saints who are born again in the blood of Jesus are sanctified by the Word.
  • Jesus rose again, ascended to heaven, sat on the throne and, after the Holy Spirit came, became the Head of the church that is gathered in the name of Jesus.
  • the sacraments, baptism and communion.
  • there are two types of ministers, ordained pastor (elder) and deacon.
  • Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead.
  • the resurrection of saints and in eternal life.
  • those whose names are written in the book of life will enter the Father’s house and spend eternity with Jesus our King.
