Relationship Made By the Blood 2
(Ex4:21-26; Eph2:13-18)

God is the God of peace (1Co14:33)
He lives in peace and
He calls to make peace (1Co7:15).

Though everyone wants to live in peace and thus dreams of having peace in the family,
One has no power to have peace within himself so cannot achieve such wish.

Faith is making a relationship with God, and
The life of this faith is putting effort to make peace in order to have peace (Ps37:37).

Deceived by the devil, Adam sinned (Ge3:12) and
Consequently man’s relationship with God and with men became broken (Ge4:8; 1Jn3:12).

God called Israel and gave them the Law, which commanded them to
Love their neighbors as themselves (Ex20:12-17; Lev19:18) and
Also give peace offerings since they were still in discord with God (Ex20:24; Lev3).

The Temple where the stone tablets were and the peace offering was given reminded them this
As well as the prophecy regarding the coming prince of peace who would
Proclaim peace to all nations (Is9:6; Mi5:2-5; Zec9:9-10) as
It was built in Jerusalem, “the prepared peace.”

When it was time, the Son of God, Yeshua, came and said,
“Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would tear down man’s broken relationship because of sin and
Make a new relationship with the souls of all men.
While He came as peace for all (Lk2:14; Eph2:14), however,
He said that He did not come to bring peace to the earth but a sword (Mt10:34-37).

As He died, Yeshua said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) By becoming an atoning sacrifice, cut down men’s broken relationship with God and
reconciled them to Him, fulfilling the Father’s will (Rm5:10; 1Jn2:2, 4:10);
2) Condemned the divider the devil (Ge3:4-6; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His flesh tore down the wall of hostility between God and man, between Jews and
gentiles, and among men, while with His blood made a new relationship of peace
(Eph2:12-17; Col1:19-20; Rev5:9).

He resurrected and ascended to the heavenly throne for
He is the Prince and Savior (Ac5:31).

The Holy Spirit came to those who received the blood of Yeshua in their souls and
Lets them know that His blood is their peace, and that
They have brothers and sisters in the blood (He3:1).

The Christian is he who has
The ministry of reconciliation (2Co5:18) and thus
Even if his relationships of flesh and blood may break (Ex4:24),
The relationship made by the blood of God is eternal (He9:12, 10:12).
For the fruit of the Spirit is peace (Gal5:22) and
The peacemakers will be called children of God (Mt5:9),
He surpasses relationships based on flesh and blood and shared understandings, and
Puts effort to make peace with the brothers and sisters of the blood, his family and church.
With the blood he goes out to seek and bring reconciliation.

O Lord,
Put over our eyes the lens of the blood of Yeshua and
Let us be content with that condition alone! Amen.
