I Am Blessed
(Ps84:1-12; Rm4:5-8)

God is the source of blessedness.
In Him is blessedness and
He gives His blessing to those who make Him as their God (Ps144:15).

Faith is being content with the blessedness with God and thus knowing that one is blessed, and
The life of this faith is blessing others with the fullness of one’s blessedness.

“Happiness” is based on feelings, luck and physical circumstances — thus subjective and relative.
Though everyone searches for it, even making relationships with those who seem to be happy,
They end up being disappointed and unhappy.

“Blessedness,” on the other hand, is rooted in God for
It is the state of being in God’s favor, thus being totally satisfied, not being in want (Ps23:1).
The Bible says that God alone is blessed, totally satisfied, on His own (Is44:24).

God blessed Abram and he became
A blessing though whom all peoples on earth would be blessed (Ge12:2-3).
His descendants, Isaac and Jacob were blessed and

Even others recognized (Ge26:29, 30:27, 32:26-30).

The most blessed man in the Old Testament was king David (2Sa6:11-23; 1Ch17:27):
For 40 years the ark of covenant which had the name Jehovah
Remained in his city and he was able to give sacrifices of praise.

In spite of the fact that Israel was a kingdom serving Jehovah as their God (Ps144:15) and
A blessed people (Nu22:12; Dt33:29),
They served foreign gods, because of which they were destroyed (Jos24:20; Neh9:35).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-20),
He would give eternal blessedness to not the flesh or the person (feelings) but the spirit
To those who make the name not Jehovah but Yeshua as their God, their King (Mt16:16).

To those who surrender to be content on their own (Mt5:3)
To be blessed with Yeshua alone
He promised that they would not stumble on account of
The circumstances and conditions of the Son of Man (Mt11:6; Lk6:22).

Rejecting those who pleaded Him to become their king (Jn6:15)
Yeshua died alone but said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Knowing that dwelling in the Father’s house is the greatest blessedness, thus went through
the valley of the shadow of death (Ps23:4, 84:4-10; Jn10:17-18);
2) Judged the devil who attempted to separate from the blessedness of God (Is14:12-15);
3) By sprinkling His blood covered the sins of all men to forgive them (Ps32:1).

He resurrected and ascended to the throne in heaven.
He reigns over all nations with blessing (Ps72:17).

The Holy Spirit comes inside the souls of those who believe and
Lets them shout out that they are those who have made
Yeshua as their God, their King, their Savior, and their Righteousness (Rm4:5-8) because of which
They are blessed.

The Christian is he who finds
Worship in the gathering in the name Yeshua as
The happiest, the most blessed time on earth.
Therefore, for he longs and longs for worship (Ps84)
He comes with his heart emptied and fills up with blessing
To go back out to the world to seek the lost and invites them into the blessedness of God.

O Lord,
No matter what others say
I am the most blessed person in the world!
I searched and searched for happiness but was only left disappointed and hurt…
But now, Yeshua, You are my happiness, my blessedness!
Let all those You have given me also
Be blessed by making Yeshua as their God, their King, their Savior and their Righteousness
So they can bless others with this blessedness! Amen.
