He Who Has Ears To Hear
(Mt13:13-17; Rev2:7)

God is the God of revelation (Jn1:1).
He reveals Himself in His time, according to His ways (Jn1:14; Gal4:4-5) and
To those who love Him He reveals Himself all the more (Jn14:21).

Faith is hearing His word and believing it and
The life of this faith is carrying out His word, that is, obeying His word until the end.

While religions originate from the spirit of the world (1Co2:12) and
Guide human deeds and effort to approach the divine,
God hides Himself infinitely from such (Mt11:25-26).
The faith by revelation, however, is following the revealed word:
Hearing according to what He speaks and
Knowing according to what He lets be known — that is, hearing the Word.

The Bible contains the story of men who heard the word of God:
Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, the prophets and the disciples (He1:1-2).
In the past — through the prophets — to Israel;
In these last days — through the Son — to the world, the disciples; and
On this day — through the Holy Spirit — to the church, the souls.

The Law is the word that God spoke through the angels (Ac7:53; He2:2)
While the gospel is the word He spoke through the Son (He2:3), which is
What many prophets longed to hear (Mt13:16-17).

The sanctuary where the stone tablets inside the ark were
Reminded them that God spoke to their ancestors (Ex25:22).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
He Himself would reveal God and speak directly (Mt17:1-5; He1:1) to souls.
He is the God who spoke since the beginning who became flesh and
His words are what the Word in the beginning spoke (Jn1:1, 14),
Also to be spoken by the Holy Spirit inside souls (Jn14:24, 16:12-13).

Although He spoke what He heard from the Father (Jn12:49),
The people refused to hear Him (Jn9:29), and
The disciples, though blessed to hear His voice (Mt13:13-17; Mk4:9, 23),
Still could not understand at the time (Lk18:33-34).

As His flesh was nailed to the cross and He died,
Yeshua said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Only listened to the Father’s word and obeyed it (Jn10:18);
2) Judged the spirit of the world, the liar, the devil (Ge3:4-6; Jn8:43-47, 12:31); and
3) Tore His flesh like the veil and sprinkled His blood on the souls of men, opening their ears that were closed by sin (Ge3:24; Ex25:22; Lk23:45).

He resurrected and ascended to heaven
In the body that has the marks of being torn (Rev5:6).
To this day, His voice comes from the throne like
Peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm (Rev11:19).

The Holy Spirit lets believers who heard the voice of Yeshua inside their souls
Speak in tongues (Ac2:4; 1Co14:14) and
Reminds them of the words of Yeshua (Jn14:23-26) and
Hear the words that the Spirit speaks to the churches (Rev2:7).

A disciple is blessed for he has ears to hear (Mt13:16-17)
The word spoken since the beginning.
He discerns the words for the soul from those that are not (Ps1:1; Mt4:12; 1Co2:11-14; 2Ti4:3-4).
So he repents when rebuked (Rev2:12-17),
Obeys the words of Christ for they are spirit and life (Jn6:63, 68, 12:50), and
Preaches the words for the soul (Mk16:15-20),
For only those who can discern the word will rise
When the Lord returns (Jn5:24-25).

O Lord,
I am so moved that
The word spoken since the beginning,
The word spoken to Paul and converted him (Ac9:4-6; Gal1:15-17; Eph3:1-6)
I a soul can hear today!
Let all our ears be opened to hear Your voice!
Ephphatha (Mk7:35)!
