God Does Not Surpass the Prophecy

(Is42:9; 2Pe3:1-7)

God is faithful and true (Dt7:9; Jer10:10).
His nature, His word are faithful and true (Rev3:14, 19:11, 21:5) and
He takes those who believe in His word, that is, the prophecy, and live for the day it is fulfilled
To a new heaven and a new earth (2Pe3:11-13).

Faith is believing the events recorded in the Bible as historical (Lk1:1) and
Believing that the prophecies written in the Bible would be fulfilled in the future.
The life of this faith is until that day keeping watch, enduring hardship, evangelizing and
Discharging all the duties (2Ti4:1-5).

History is important is because there is
No present without the past and without the present there is no future.
The Bible contains the word of God consisting of covenants and prophecies:
The covenants are God’s promises, His providence
While the prophecies are His unilateral decisions, His dispensation.
They are written down as warnings for the saints in the last days (1Co10:11).

Since there was no witness account for the events recorded in
Genesis chapters one to eleven, including the deluge, many treat them as a myth.
But God put witnesses for “His prophecies are surely fulfilled”:
According to His prophecy, Abraham received a son at the age of 100 (Ge18:10, 21:2), and
His offspring Israel were delivered from their slavery in Egypt after 400 years (Ge15:13-14; Ex12:41).

Israel was a kingdom of prophets for the prophets, both great and small,
Led the people through the prophecies and their fulfillments.
However, they became ensnared by false prophets and thus were cursed (Eze13:1-6; Is41:22-23).

Yet God reminded them that He is the true God who alone can tell them
What the former things were and the things to come (Is42:9) and
For them to believe in a greater prophecy a sign would be given:
The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son (Is7:14) and
The government will be on His shoulders etc (Is9:6).

Finally, a son was born of a virgin’s body and He was Yeshua (Mt1:21-23; Lk1:34-35).
He said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of HIs body (Jn2:19-21),
He would in the name not Jehovah but Yeshua, the Father’s name (Jn5:43),
Fulfill with His zeal (Is9:7; Jn2:17) all the prophecies of the prophets (Mal4:5; Mt11:11-12) for
He is the Word of the prophecy
Foreknown before the creation who became flesh (Jn1:14; 1Pe1:20).

He testified that the flood in Noah’s days was a historical event which was
The fulfillment according to God’s prophecy (Mt24:37-39) for
It was an event He Himself saw (Jn3:31-32).

He prophesied His death, resurrection, return and the end times (Mt16:21, 24:37-39) and
As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) To receive His life back laid down His life (Jn10:17-18);
2) Judged the devil a false god (Ge3:4-6; Is14:12-15, 41:21-22); and
3) According to the prophecy sprinkled His redeeming blood on all men (Ps34:22; 1Pe1:18-20).

He resurrected and ascended to heaven and
He is the Lamb on the throne for His scars testify that
He is the true God who according to the prophecy died and resurrected.

In the last days scoffers will come and
Deny the deluge, the prophetic word, the Bible itself
Thus idealizing the greatest prophecy, the return of Christ (2Pe3:3).
However, the Holy Spirit warns of what must soon take place (Rev1:1).
Therefore, to not have their hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and
The anxieties of life and that day closing on suddenly like a trap (Lk21:34)
The Christian endures, evangelizes, carries out his duty and keeps watch (2Ti4:1-5) so that
On the day the Lord returns he would escape the universe and
Arrive in a new heaven and a new earth (2Pe3:7).

O Lord,
The scoffer who appears in the last days — evolution!
Let none of us be stained by it and become numbed to creation, the Bible and the prophecies.
Rather, let us be awakeedn by the prophetic word of the Word in the beginning.
Amen. Come, Lord Yeshua!
