God Is To Be Honored
(1Ti6:15-16)

God is the God of honor.
His being, His works are all honorable (Ps111:3; Rev4:11), and
He comforts those downcast (2Co7:6).
Those who honor Him, He will honor (1Sa2:30) and
Crown them with honor to let them enter the Holy City (Job22:8; Rev21:24).

Faith is honoring the name of God and believing that one has become honored (Mal3:16), and
The life to this faith is living as an honorable and doing all things honorably (Rm2:7).

Honor refers to a position or status of respect and high regard.
In monarchy it is inherited through lineage.
While human rights situations have improved and
There have been struggles to eradicate class systems, they continue to exist to this day.

The Bible records of the ranks that God determined:
Above angels are men, above Esau is Jacob (He1:4-5; Ge25:23).
But because Adam was deceived by the corrupted archangel and sinned (Ge3:4-6; Rev12:9),
He was demoted to becoming a servant of the lowly, that is, a servant of the devil (Job30:8).

God sent Moses and delivered Israel who had been slaves in Egypt and
He set the order of honor for the people of God (Ex19:6):
The high priest — the priests — the Levites — the people, below whom were gentiles (Ex24:1-2, 11).
Israel was promised that if they obeyed the commands
They would alway be at the top, never at the bottom (Dt28:13).

Since David risked his life and exalted the name of Jehovah,
From tending the flock to ruler over Israel he became (2Sa7:8-9; 1Ch29:28).
However, the stiff-necked people ignored the teaching of Jehovah (Is42:22) and
They were eventually demoted to becoming lowly people without sovereignty (Na3:10).

The prophet spoke of the appearance of the servant of God coming from a womb and
By being despised and abhorred by the nation, the servant of rulers (Is49:5-7) will
Save the whole world, and be raised, lifted up and highly exalted (Is52:13-14).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
Not in the name of Jehovah but in the name of Yeshua, He would set a new order of honor.
Though their Lord and Teacher, like a servant He washed the feet of His disciples (Jn13:14).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), and as His flesh tore the temple veil tore (Lk23:45),
For the order of honor by lineage under the Law and the status of all men
Under the prince of the world as his slaves since Adam’s sin were all destroyed, for He:
1) Was obedient to death to the Father’s command and brought all things to their knees before the name above all names, revealing the honor of the Father (Jn10:18; Php2:6-11);
2) Judged the prince of the world (Jn12:31), and
3) Died in place of all men to redeem them.

In the beginning — the Word — the God of honor — became man
Obedient to death — the name above all names/ all things bow — glory to the Father
His blood — children of God — honorables

He resurrected and crowned with glory and honor and sat on the heavenly throne (He2:9).
The Holy Spirit lets the church honor those who
Overcome the tests of faith and those faithful to death (Rm16:7; Eph5:21; Php2:25-30).

The Christian born again in the name of honor and the blood of honor
For his noblesse oblige does not speak lies or filthy language (Pr17:7; Col3:8)
Does not commit adultery, steal or do dishonorable work (Rm2:21-22),
Does not beg or steal but works with his own hands to eat (1Th4:11; 2Th3:11-12).
He does everything honorably — in worship, prayer, praise, testifying, service, dedication — and
On account of Christ, he willingly becomes lowly and suffers
In order that whether by life or death Christ be exalted (Rm14:8; Php1:20).

O Lord,
The lowliest of the lowly is me!
Bearing the sins of the untouchable outcastes, the Lord of honor died…
Now the most honorable, the noblest blood flows in my soul!
Let a classless society be established in our church and
Let us all live as the honorables. Amen.
