God Will Not Surpass Power
(Ge17:1; 1Co4:20)

God is almighty (Rev1:8).
He surpasses the limits of time, space, and power.
He takes great power and reigns (Rev11:17).

Faith is believing that God has power to do what He promises (Rm4:17-21), and The life of this faith is trusting the power of God and the majesty of His name (Mi5:4)
and telling His mighty acts (Ps145:4).

The older people get, the more experience they have in life, the more they feel their limitations
Thus they become more skeptical and pessimistic.
Yet there are those brave ones who challenge the limitations of the human body.

The Bible demonstrates the omnipotence of God.
From Genesis to Revelation it records supernatural phenomenas and mysteries, and
They are wonders, miracles and signs (2Co12:12):
While wonders and miracles refer to extraordinary events, powerful deeds,
Signs are such given to confirm, emphasizing the end-purpose which exalts the one giving them.
Christianity is not a religion but rather the faith that experiences the living God through them.
In spite of it, however, some Christians denounce them, accusing them to be dangerous.

Abraham believed in God who calls into beings that were not and created and
Against all hope, in hope he believed the promise (Ge18:10-15) and
Received a son though his body was as good as dead at the age of 100 (Ge21:2; Rm4:18-20).

Bringing the pharaoh of Egypt, the superpower nation at the time, to his knees
God delivered Israel from their slavery of 400 years and it was
By the wonders and the signs performed by Moses at the age of 80 with his staff (Ex3:20, 4:17).

After passing through the parted Red Sea and arriving in the wilderness
The Israelites saw God’s miracles daily for 40 years.
In spite of it, however, they grumbled against God
So without seeing the promised land they fell in the wilderness and died (Nu14:22-23).
Moreover, even after seeing the dwelling place of Jehovah, the temple of the Almighty, where
The ark of the His might that reminded them of “Jehovah = the almighty God” (Ps132:5, 8) was,
The kingdom of Israel was destroyed by the Almighty for they served other gods (Is13:6).

Yet since there was the prophecy of
The birth of a child, a son to be given the name Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God (Is9:6),
They longed for the appearance of the Mighty Warrior who saves (Zeph3:17).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days,” because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body (Jn2:19-21),
Not in the name Jehovah but in the Father’s name Yeshua (Jn5:43), the name of salvation (Mt1:21),
Not as Mary’s son but as the offspring of the woman who came according to the prophecy (Ge3:15),
He would do mighty works through His body and save (Jn14:11).

During the three years of His ministry He daily drove out demons,
Healed the sick from various diseases, and performed countless miracles and wonders for
God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and power (Ac10:38), and
Power came out of His body (Lk6:19, 8:43-48).
Even the disciples who followed Him did the same power (Mt10:1; Jn14:12; Lk10:1).

As He died, He said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), for
Through His death He broke through the critical point of the Son of Man, that is, death:
1) Confessing that the Father alone is the Almighty who is able to save Him from death (He5:7);
2) With His authority to die judging the devil who had the authority to kill (Jn10:18; He2:14); and
3) The Word in the beginning became flesh, the almighty God came as limited man, and
through the limitations of the flesh, He paid the price of sin, death, for all men, while with His eternal blood He poured out He allowed men to break through their limits (Rm8:1; He13:20).

By the power of His resurrection, it was confirmed that He is the Son of God (Rm1:4) and
He ascended to heaven where He reigns with power forever (Rev1:8).

The Holy Spirit lets the believers challenge the impossible in the name Yeshua (Php4:13).
Therefore, the church and the apostles do not shrink back in any danger (Ac4:27-31; 1Co2:4),
Rather boldly testify the gospel and heal the sick.

Signs and wonders are important because:
1) They testify that Yeshua Christ lives;
2) They confirm the truth (Mk16:20; 2Co12:12);
3) They prevent faith from becoming an idea; and
4) Through testimonies they give glory to God.

O Lord,
Even if the world calls us crazy,
In the name Yeshua and let us create signs and wonders and miracles!
Let us never surpass the power of the name Yeshua and
In the name Yeshua surpass all things!
In the One who gives power I can do all things! Amen.
